That sketch on BBOTS last night was dreadful. If that is the sort of thing Aaron intends to do with Mark (as I feared it would be) I won't be tuning in! Mark is not funny imho and Aaron just becomes his straight man pandering to his idiocy. I agreed with Jamie East!

I do agree that some people seem to be taking it too seriously.

It's up to Aaron what he does, and what he feels comfortable with or enjoys doing. He's his own person, and that's something I admire him for. He clearly finds Mark's humour funny and many other people do too, otherwise Mark wouldn't feature so often on BOTS.

I don't find the naked stuff especially funny myself, but I would never dream of telling Aaron what I thought he should and shouldn't do. Some of the comments to him on twitter and fb make me feel quite uncomfortable tbh.

I think you're right here about Jamie's intro - I saw it as part of the 'joke'.

I also think that the concept for the sketch was actually fine, in terms of making fun of fitness DVDs, just too much nakedness for me personally

Aaron is free of course to do what he wants with whomever he wants and if he is enjoying himself more power to his elbow and all that. But I reserve my right to choose not to watch such silliness. I have never liked silliness choose as who is doing it.

I do not agree however with those who are telling him to not be friends with Mark, or to not work with Mark - its upto him what he does, who he is friends with and who he works with. I think people are taking it all a bit too seriously - its as if someone like David Frost had just stripped naked and jumped into a bath of marshmallows. Aaron really doesn;t have any standing, any career to ruin, any pedestal to fall off or any credibility to undermine. He is after all merely the winner of BB who will no doubt be forgotten about in 12 months time.

I agree regarding the concept. It started of well imho and I did chuckle at the beginning as making fun of the fitness DVDs is most definitely something Aaron would do with or without Mark. But then it just descended into silliness, as most things do when Mark is involved as he can always be relied upon to take things too far and then a little bit further just to be sure and then it just becomes about a vehicle for Mark to be stupid and take centre stage with no part to play for anyone else. This would be OK if Mark was genuinely a comedy genius - but sadly he is not.

I think the point being made is that Aaron won BB because he is not Brian Belo or any of the other hms who have won for being stupid. He won for other reasons (and probably because he was actually the opposite of Brian Belo) therefore given why he won he shouldn't allow himself to descend into being Brian Belo for the likes of BBOTS as that is no why people liked him enough to vote for him to win.

He is/was the antithesis of Brian Belo.. the guy who would do anything for a 'laugh'

Aaron is his own man & nobody has any business telling him how he should be behaving. Likewise If anyone is telling him to drop Mark as a friend, then they are well out of order for doing so. However I think some constructive criticism of last nights sketch was fair enough & in the long term could prove beneficial. Ultimately we all want Aaron to be successful in his chosen career path & at the moment he appears to want a career in front of the cameras. If this is indeed what he wants? Then in my humble opinion there is no long term future whatsoever in prancing around & making a complete fool out of himself. Might be a harsh opinion to hold but I think it's hard one to argue with?

I agree Jamie's intro was part of the comic premise of the Sketch.
Two ex housemate in a ccomic sketch about putting out a fitness DVD.

I have no major problem with Mark being naked except it will become boring.

What was cringey for me with the naked writhing/frolicking around together.

Other than that it was okay.

I'd prefer Aaron more as a panelist/on the couch for the chat show bit or doing Vox pox out and about in the public (even with Mark).

Moving on we have the next chapter in the life of our winner to look forward too
