That's good to know - it's been given a second series so will definitely give it a try.

It's not as "just for laughs" as Boston Legal more of a light drama. If you count season 8 of The Practice as year 0 of Boston Legal then it's that sort of tone
Similar vein to The Defenders, or maybe The Good Wife with the politics removed |

Can someone who’s watched both tell me how this differs from E4s Franklin and Bash?

I enjoyed the first episode that I caught on Anytime. It isn't going to be the best show on TV but the acting is fine and the story seemed fairly well put together. I will continue watching this, just a shame I have to wait two weeks now that I have seen the first episode.

I didn't know that Dave showed American dramas. Or is this the only one? Looking forward to it, anyway.

Having seen the first season (and not giving any spoilers) :
- we don't get any of that prosecuter & defense people going out for drinks before and after the trial, being all bestest buddies, and then inside the court tearing each other to shreds, that really weirds me out when other *David Kelley I'm pointing at you" series do that, and we don't get a chorus of background singers going OOOOOHHHH and AAAAAAHHHHHH when every something shocking or terrible happens (David Kelley, I'm still pointing at you), and we've not yet had a parent sue their sons football/soccer coach for not providing head-gear for their child after said child was hurt during a match, and win!! (David Kelley, just assume whenever I'm relating something that bigs me about a legal show, well just assume it's about you and ever legal show you've written) . I saw the whole season in ~2days and am counting down the days for Season 2, and that's all I'll say.

I was surprised to see a trailer for this in the cinema. I'll give it a go but if it's anything like F&B I'll be giving up on it fast.

I've always dismissed Dave as being reruns of old episodes of Top Gear (6 hours of it today ), "past it" quiz shows and well, nothing else. I don't even have them on my favourite channels list. So what are they doing screening a new (OK, old but new to the UK) series? If they hadn't been advertising this on other channels I'd never have even known about it. |

I think it's a really good show.Another quality show from the USA Network and it's miles better than Franklin and Bash,i could not really care if that got a second season but I can't wait for Suits to come back.

It just annoys me that they acquired "The New Adventures of Old Christine" many years ago and seemingly adopted a scheduling policy of rolling a dice and picking a random date and time for each episode based on what number came up .. |
