Just noticed a weird charge on my bank account which I'm not sure what is
Its a charge for 25.95 for INT'L (Then a long number) 2CO.COM*Astraweb

Does anyone know what this is and where its from?
I'm a little concerned as I dont rember buying anything for that amount, and this was charged on the 3/1/12
Tried searching online but just came out with something about a astraweb internet/something to do with virgin?
I do have 100mb broadband with virgin etc, but havent taken anything extra out with them

Hope someone can help soon before I ring up the bank!

Phone Virgin and ask them if they've charged you for anything?

Astraweb is a usenet provider which processes payments via 2co.com. If you haven't signed up with them then something fishy is going on.

Just rang my bank and found out it was indeed a usenet sever provider, and even found out I had another 1 on my account from SPACESRV.com which was a hosting server provider based in Florida!
How do these ppl get these details?

It is a charge from Astraweb, presumably for usenet (newsgroup) access.

Astraweb charge in dollars so 25.95 is equivalent to around $40 - equivalent to 4 months unlimited access at 5Mb/s or 3 months without the speed cap.

It is nothing to do with Virgin

Looks like someone has hacked your credit card details.
