Feeling in a bit of an odd place lately. Contemplative, reflective maybe, and usually when I am, i turn to music, I always have songs which particularly strike a chord with how I am feel and wondering if anyone else has songs that really get to them...

Mine at the minute are:

Eminem- You're Never Over
Avril Lavigne- When You're Gone
Evanescence- My Immortal

The songs don't have to be sad though... could also be ones that make you really happy, or just convey an emotion to you...
does anyone have any, and if you want to, any reason's to share?

Mine at the minute are:

Firstly, good way to put it

Marina and The Diamonds - I Am Not A Robot .... it's simple but basically makes me feel okay about my flaws if I'm having a bad day and reminds me that no matter how confident someone seems, they have insecurities and that may be why they feel they need to come across so confident in the first place.

Madonna - Little Star.... going deep here .. but I was bullied when at school and a bit of a loner at times and always wanted a brother or sister and when I was 9 I got a brother. Best moment of my life. Anyway yeah.. for some reason that is what this song is about for me.

Would go on but it would become a bit of an essay

Natalie Merchant - My Skin

This song is so beautiful and it's so personal to me. Every now and again I listen to it and fall in love all over again. I heard it for the first time about 3 years ago and loved it from the first listen.

Agree SO much, beautiful song. The first time I heard it was during the anorexia storyline on Hollyoaks a few years ago.
