I can't take him seriously. I cringe every time he opens his mouth.

Surely there must be someone better than him? I.e. Anyone!

Understand what you mean. However he is prvoding me with a laugh. Not sure judging panel is working

Louie is 10,000% improvement on Jason - so glad he's gone so I can now watch the show.

Louie is hilarious, he has the worse lisp ive heard on TV, brilliant stuff!

Goodness knows how he gets a job on TV with that speech impediment.

Ive turned the TV off.
hoping he improves next week after the bosses totally rip him apart (which they will after tonights performance).

With Emma being picked before someone on that production has a very iffy Idea on what makes a good judge.that being Said Jason had to go.the guy had totally lost the plot last year.I cant see the Reviews on Louis being very kind though

I never really liked to watch louie before as he just wound me up, being just so over the top but I've really warmed to him tonight.
He has been very fair and honest. He isn't being over the top and taking the limelight over the contestants ( which is what I expected) Also he is being very constructive unlike Jason who was just plan nasty at times.

Well done Louie, great job and completely changed my mind about him!

I much prefer him to Jason and apart from the 3.5 I enjoyed both his comments and marking.

I think he has made accurate and constructive comments and is doing very well.

I thought he seemed to know what he was talking about. I can't believe people are suggesting he shouldn't be on tv because of a lisp - even 'in jest', this is prejudice. I had no problems understanding what he said.

I thought he was fair and constructive, and reigned in his flamboyant side a tad.

Good addition. Both him and Katerina are a breath of fresh air compared to Jason and Emma who virtually ruined last series.

I thought his scoring of Andy A was rubbish - other than that, no complaints from me so far!

That's a really stupid thing to say. If he is good at a job why should a speech impediment hold him back? Its like saying someone from another country shouldn't be on the telly because they have an accent, or he/she can't be on telly because they are too ugly! These are things that can't be helped. Why shouldn't everyone have an equal opportunity regardless of speech, looks, colour etc.

Yes, my thoughts entirely. He can't help having a speech impediment, and I would rather listen to him than someone with a strong regional accent who I can't understand, although it's also good that we have regional dialects. he was fair, and I think he will be an excellent judge. He does know what he's talking about and didn't try to ridicule anyone.

I was dreading Louie on the show actually, but I completely agree with this. He was constructive and consistent (unlike Katrina) and seemed quite restrained, and I actually really enjoyed his contributions.

I don't watch much TV, so had no idea about Louis Spence before tonight's show. So, with no preconceptions, I have to say that I really enjoyed the new panel members' comments, which were constructive and informative.

I don't mind that Louis marked Andy A lower than the other judges did - he is entitled to do so, based on his viewpoint. Isn't that the whole point of having three judges?

I wasn't that keen on Louis didn't hate him or anything and now feel he is doing a good job, constructive criticism, sense of humour and the thing I thought he might do - making it about him - is not happening, so well done Louis.

Sir Jason Gardiner needs to return. I think Louie's trying to be sorta like him with the low scores and etc. but it's not working.

The speech impediment impedes his clarity in conversing.
It's nothing to do with regionalised accents: clarity is the key.
Looks and colour do not impinge on speech.
That's a really stupid thing to say in this debate.

I think those picking on Louie purely because of his lisp need to take a look at themselves would you criticise someone in the street if they had a lisp? Why should he be the subject of grief for it purely because he is on TV.

I actually liked Louie tonight he was fair and constructive with the criticisms and I mostly agreed with his points. Louie has had a longstanding career in performing and choreography so is more than qualified to judge the performance aspect. I saw Louie live at the Pineapple Dance studios finale at the O2 in 2010 and while yes at times he is as mad as a box of frogs there was another side to him.

There was a bit that didn't make it to the televised show that showed his absolute true passion for his career and for dance and he was so calm talking about it and to a point intense and it was nice to see that side of him. He does genuinely know what he is talking about and has passion about it.

I didn't mind Jason as a judge the problem was the comments were to a point correct but his approach to them was the problem and it went from constructive to insulting.

I think as the weeks go on Louie will settle in more and more but certainly liked him tonight.

See I don't get this... While his lisp is very noticable, I only missed what he said once, with my 2 year old going hyper for the first half of the show.

So his clarity can't be that bad. I understood everything bar I think one thing, that he said.

I didnt think I would like him, while he can be funny, in general he irritates me. But I really liked him on the panel, I like the new panel overall it's a VAST improvement IMO.

His comments were justified, balanced, constructive and he is plenty qualified and knows what he is talking about.

One thing I did really like about him and that was really refreshing was that he was giving the harsh and honest criticism but without being a bitch or being nasty with it which most "brutally honest" talent show judges do.
