I knew he was going though - after Heidi skated & T/D were gushing in their praise, whereas they were noticeably cool & silent after Andy's skate-off.

There must have been something else going on there, judging by their response, it looked like a stitch-up, plus Robin, as a skater, surely should have voted to keep him (I think Andy's original marks were higher than Heidi's?)”

I've just watched it back & T/D actually look quite embarassed after Andy's skate-off, when asked to comment - there is no doubt IMO they knew he was going!

A definite stitch-up for some reason? A great shame - he had a lot to give - one of the better skaters!

I have watched DOI from the very first series. There is something going on. Its so off putting.

Although Heidi's routine was more graceful, she didn't let go of her partner at all, throughout the routine, whereas Andy skated independantly throughout. As a celebrity, his lifting of the professional was much more difficult than Heidi being carried by the pro. I reckon at least half her routine consisted of her being carried across the ice, without her skates even touching it!

Imo, Andy was only in the bottom two because of Louie's ridiculously low mark in the first round - no idea why he was so critical, as I thought it was a good standard for a first dance.

Won't bother watching, if its going to be like this every week.

Their routines were very different, and so hard to compare. I thought they were of a similar overall standard and with much more to give. I thought Andy had overall more potential, but Heidi was still getting used to her new partner, and deserves the extra couple of weeks to get the hang of him before doing it again.

The other Andy and Mark should hacve been bottom two - quite clearly IMO, but they were also bottom of the leader board and with fan-bases who voted because they were bottom of the leader board. When there are only seven contestants, it's inevitable these things happen. At least by the time there are genuinely seven contestants left, the fans of the rubbish ones start to feel guilty about voting.

IMO he was the best after Jorgie. Out of the bottom two Heidi should definitely have gone, though overall Mark should have gone.

It's been suspected for years that the X Factor judges are told who to vote off. I hope they don't do the same on DOI. .Andy looked really upset and I am too as I thought he had great potential

I'd bet my bottom dollar that Robin was told to vote Andy off, for whatever reason, I don't know... But he was way better than Heidi as he danced independently, did lifts and throws... What else did they want?

Heidi deserved to stay. She had to switch partners which is a big disadvantage. We all know the longer they are together the better they get. She deserved a second chance and Andy was good but sloppy. I would have saved Heidi.

It should have been Mark and Heidi in the bottom with Mark to go! Andy A was better than Heidi, she was the only celeb tonight not to even attempt to skate alone, all she did was hide behind her partner, to which she has zero chemistry with. The wrong person went!

Nothing's changed, the worst skater gets voted through, one of the better skaters ends up in the bottom 2 and gets voted off. It's obviously scripted that way and it's done so that the producers' favourites have an easy ride, whilst everyone enjoys the no-hopers failing badly each week.

Because everyone carries on watching, the producers keep on doing the same things each series.

Heidi did deserve to stay, it should have been Mark and Andy W in the bottom with Mark leaving.

Wasn't Heidi supposed to be one of the rating pullers? No wonder they saved her.

She was expected to before the show started though. I would expect them to give her another chance seeing as how she was on first. I don't think she should have been out either but then the crap ones always get through at first. On voting what was in front of them I'm surprised at Robin, he wasn't voting on skating that's for sure.

When they were still there at the point that the last safe couple were to be announced I serioulsy thought that ITV were creating some tension and that they had actually got the most votes.

I am kicking myself for not voting but I seriously thought they were safe as houses.

Mark should have gone but it was totally the right decision out of the two in the skate off.

Thats not what they can mark though. Heidi didn't write her routine, nor did Andrei, so you cant mark the routine in week one - as you would just be marking Tand D.You can't assume she's glued to Andrei because she has to be - when someone else glued them for unknown reasons. How you perform what you have been given has to matter too. Thats more true on DOI than it is on SCD - as, on SCD, the pros at least can be held responsible for weak choregraphy. Andy was out of sync and messy, Heidi did what she was given well. From that perspective, Louie's mark is right, and Robin can jump that way too in the final vote if Heidi tightens up her performance in the dance off - which she did.

Perhaps the judges didn't want Andrei being the first pro to go home for the 3rd time...

Thought he was overmarked in the first place - though he wasn't the worst skater of the night; that dubious title clearly belonged to Mark.

Up against Heidi I think the right decision was made by Louis and Robin.

Just watched the Skate Off again on +1: No way should Andy have left over Heidi - absolutely ridiculous decison by Robin - he must have been told what to do!!! Louie says Heidi was more refined and polished (WTF!!!)
