Ed Sheeran Manchester Academy Gig 14th Jan - Finishing time?

Hi guys, me and some mates are seeing Ed Sheeran at the Manchester Academy next Saturday on January 14th.

The doors are opening at 7:30 but our last train home from Manchester Oxford Station to Blackpool North is at 22:58.

Now we were wondering what time will the concert finish? Does anybody know? Because I really don't want to miss the last song (because it will probably be You Need Me, I Don't Need You) and I love that, but if we miss this train then we're screwed - also how long of a walk is it from the academy to the train station?

Thanks in advance guys.

I can't guarentee his set length but I'd assume he'd be on by 9 and done by half ten (thats a standard length for first album artists on tour).

The walk from the academy to that station is 10-15 minutes but can be squeezed down to seven...if you run (trust me, I've done that last minute run for my train and it's scary and horrific) sometimes it's worth sacrificing the last song to make your train, just keep track of time and give yourself about 20 minutes before your train time to get there.

Ask others opinions before solely taking mine, my experiences are a bit different as my last train has always been 23:24 and some artists can run late or have a nice meaty set list. I've been to gigs there that have lasted from 70 minutes to an hour and a half. Maybe ask fans on a fan forum/appreciation thread for ed sheeran if they know his setlist length?

Thankyou so much!

I'm really nervous haha, I do hope he finishes before 11 as I'd hate to miss the last song but we were saying we would probably leave about 22:45 in that case and make a run for it and I can't find his setlist length anywhere, the only indication was that someone said he played 'for two hours' but that was at a festival so, I'm not sure
