Amazing. And an actual question, if it turns out it's only Keisha and Mutya returning, with a new third member, do we call them Sugababes 1.5 or 2.5? |

Where in that article exactly does it mention a new member? All it does is deny the rumours that the original line-up are reforming.

The insiders on PopJustice say the reunion is happening and they're keeping quiet until they sequre their deal. They say Sony want them really bad. They're all following each other on Twitter. It is happening and everybody knows it! I bet you this happens and it's made official soon. Even Reggie Yates is tweeting about 'three voices' he has heard in years. Duh!
You need to calm down anyway. Negative press comes naturally with all things Sugababes, and you've just got to get used to it. The press will want 1.0 to have in-fighting, as well as squabbles with 4.0. The press will also drag up Mutya's ass and Siobhan's less-than-ideal post-1.0 activities. Quote:

She was crap, hence the judges votes putting her in a shit position.

Might not be the original 3 though. That's the point. It could be Keisha, Mutya and one of the Atomic Kittens for all we know.

lol - nah, I do think 1.0 are going to release music. But the doubts are fun to gossip about, because it means "The Grand Return of the Original Sugababes" isn't as neat and tidy as some of their 'stans' hoped.
I hope they record something decent, and it gets major label interest. Sony would be good, but more likely somewhere like Mercury. 1.0 aren't going to "smash", they need somewhere where the pressure to chase hits is less. |

If Scherzinger was added, she'd have to front the band. It would have to be someone a little more low profile.

If a Sugababes fanbase isn't even there to even pick the phone up for - how much does a vote cost? - a few penece and she lands in the bottom two, then they certainly won't bother buying their new music. Stands to reason. Imagine. Based on the weekend, Chico has a bigger fanbase than a Sugababe. Kirk from Corrie has a bigger fanbase! |

Mark's fanbase didn't save him, randoms enjoying a clown saved him. Heidi went first, got a good score at first but ended up 5th with the judges. She wasn't crap, just a bit clinical. She was only 1.5 points away from 2nd place remember

![]() Heidi was in the bottom two. She didn't get enough support from her fanbase. I don't know how the above two statements are wrong? |

Rii-iight... so... the.... Sugababes fanbase didn't support her enough because she went first?
Heidi was in the bottom two. She didn't get enough support from her fanbase. I don't know how the above two statements are wrong? How big is Mark's fan base? How big is Heidi's fan base? Who knows. I'm pretty sure Mark got more sympathy votes that Heidi though, hence his higher placing. |

So what if Mark got sympathy votes? The point still stands that Heidi's fans didn't vote enough to save her, and the rest of the voting public didn't care enough to vote for her in the first place.

Firstly - the Dancing On Ice thing.
The Sugababes fan base probably turned (unfairly, IMO) on Heidi after the whole Keisha debacle, even though both Keisha and Heidi have reunited and put it behind them, even if they aren't best of friends these days. It's a shame actually, because all Heidi was guilty of doing was quitting when the situation became too much for her - she can't be blamed for the label deciding the future of the brand was with her and Amelle, not Keisha. Yes, the band should have called it a day or changed names, but I dont think that should be held against her when by all accounts she seems a genuinely nice person who hasnt done anything wrong. I dont think the death slot helped, but her fanbase should have supported her more. Secondly, I'd be a tiny bit disappointed if 1.0 returned - I dont think they could recreate some of the magic of One Touch, and even if they did, it would seem like a cash in on Siobhan's part after she's spoke out about her experiences with the girls in the past. |

To be fair, this thread is about 1.0, not Heidi.

True, the discussion about Heidi's lack of support should be continued in the "2012 - The year of Heidi Range" thread. She's off to a flyer anyway
