Oh Father is my favoutite Madonna video.

I only found out yesterday that she didn't want to release it and David Fincher had to convince her to release it and she wasn't pleased when it didn't chart well.

I wonder how she feels about Oh Father now considering what a beautiful video he created.

I have to agree. It has a proper narrative and beautifully crafted graphics.

For more up to date stuff, I like The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' because the sentiments of the song fit so well with the simple visuals.

I also like Sigur Ros's video for 'Glósóli', scary but wonderful.

Yeah it is such a powerful video...i love what Madonna and FIncher did...he also did Express Yourself, Bad girl and Vogue i love the way his direction and her vision just melded together....very intense.

Reminds me a lot of Citizen Kane too as intended

I agree with a few that have been mentioned already.

Also worth mentioning: Bjork - All Is Full Of Love. Such a mesmerising and moving video and compliments the song perfectly.

So overrated. I like a lot of Pet Shop Boys' music videos and some of Depeche Mode's, including:

West End Girls
How Can You Expect to be Taken Seriously?
Se a Vida E (That's the Way Life Is)

Get the Balance Right
Everything Counts
Shake the Disease
Enjoy the Silence

And Duran Duran's debut video Planet Earth. Always love Simon's dancing in this!

Probably not the best video ever, but I've always had a soft spot for Massive Attacks 'Unfinished Sympathy'.

Thriller isn't overrated. There is a reason why it is loved so much. It makes people happy, enjoyable to watch and the choreography is very good. Other videos pales in comparison.
