Tommy finally gets the girl as he and Tina wake up next to each other. Elsewhere Sylvia arrives home from her cruise with flash business man Milton Freeman. Also, evil David corners wife Kylie about her attitude. The pair row and it's not long before a shocking accident occurs, leaving several lives in danger.

Following David and Kylie's crash, they lie unconcous in the car. As the residents rally round them, they are rushed to hospital. As the residents pray for them, it is revealed that Steve was caught up in the crash. Although he is rushed to hospital, he dies on arrival.
