CITV and The Zone now in Wales?
chrisy

DMOL seem to think that CITV and The Zone are now available in Wales. Unless all of Wales has gone FEC 3/4 on SDN, I fail to see how this can be the case. Can any of our Welsh readers confirm this?

I can confirm that all Welsh transmitters have made the FEC change on SDN & Arq B. The last SDN FEC change was Preseli & Ferryside on 24/11/11 (according to the Digital UK postcode database).

Hmm, so it's possible - we just need somebody to confirm the additional stream is being broadcast.

I can confirm I'm living near Llanelli (South-West Wales)....(Wenvoe transmitter)....& just done a rescan & CITV & The Zone have appeared on the EPG. CITV (ch.79) Says 'we're back at 6am & online anytime at : itv.com/citv'...haven't they heard of Capital letters lol. The Zone on Ch39 just says 'The Zone - the place to shop and play will re-open at 6pm'....hmmm!! looking at my watch now it's 6.57pm...not open yet

I'm hoping that's a typo, as it ought to be on Ch 72.

Staff obviously late in! Seriously though, they might be starting afresh with it tomorrow. CITV have confirmed they will be broadcasting tomorrow from 6am.

RED Hot Filth (Ch. 191) and Elite (192) have also gone, but that might be a UK wide thing.

Edit: Ah, its so Television X can stay on TopUp TV.
