Lordo and MissAyrshire, so sorry you are going through this loss. Yes it gets better but it takes as long as it takes, they are our family and our friends.

We lost our very much loved dog in September, as others have posted the house was so empty and we have now adopted another dog. He hasn't replaced Akuma, we love Kobi for himself and it's a tribute to Akuma that we felt we could welcome another rescue dog into our family.

Mindee that poem made me shed a few more tears for my old boy.

So sorry to hear your news. Pets are never just "animals" as they mean so much more to us than that. When they pass we just miss everything about them.

Pets are so therapeutic and add so much calm and love to our lives - that it's a huge loss when they go.
