Darya Nucci? Can't remember her at all

I think Kristina left on her own accord and Darya wasn't that memorable tbh

Kristina is Canadian and didn't want to be away from her family for long periods of time, so decided not to return to Dancing on Ice.

I did hear she did a skating show in Canada called
Battle of the Blades.

Yeah what was the story with Florentine - loved her and Donal

And bring back Susie Lipanova too

I have no idea why Florentine didn't come back - she was just 'dropped' without an explanation. And I suppose Susie will forever be remembered for Todd Carty to it'd be pretty impossible for her to get anyone good.

You mean Molly Moenkhoff. I think DOI often sadly don't invite people like Molly & Darya back who go out early in their first series. I was worried the same fate might befall Mark this year so was thrilled when he got invited back.

Amongst other things Molly is now an NFL Cheerleader.

Bring back Stuart Widdall!

Not sure he would have the time what with his 'film star' commitments!!

Actually Stuart is busy skating on cruise ships, and is currently in the Caribean.

Darya for the last 2 summers has been in the Hot Ice show here in Blackpool.

Vaguely remember Kristina, don't remember Darya Nucci at all (and I usually remember a pretty face).

I'd like to see Kristina, Florentine and Melanie back, Colin Ratushniak also.

It sounds weird ice skating in the Caribbean!

With the return of Matt G, it shows that they leave the door open to pro's.

I think Colin wanted to do HOI, as he had mentioned in an interview he doesn't like doing the one thing for too long

I thought that was why, it's a shame as she was a great pro, although of course I respect and understand her decision

I wish they would bring back Sergey. He was just too adorable but I suppose he ran a mile after being lumped with Tamara Beckwith and Aggie Mackenzie

I was surprised not to see the gorgeous COLIN RATUSHNIAK from Canada return,as last year he was runnerup with Laura whatshername.Does anyone know why he didn't come back this year!!!!!!!!!

Nope, it was because he was doing Holiday On Ice and the dates clashed.

I loved Kristina. It would be great to see her come back but I can understand her desire to be closer to her family. Sounds like she might have got seriously homesick if she left DOI of her own accord and returned to Canada.

Does anyone know what she's doing now? I looked on YouTube the other day to see if she's still skating but only found a clip from some show called Battle of the Blades, which was from 2009.

Remember when everyone wanted her hair style when she first appeared on DOI? I still love that cut.

They really ought to take online audience polls and see which pros are people's favourites when deciding who to keep and who not to ask back.

Or even have a 'where are they now?' section on the site so that we can catch up with all the pro skaters. They could track the clicks on that as well. Isn't this what social media is all about - deeper engagement?

I thought it was that they took so long to decide which pros they wanted and to contact them that Colin had already decided to do HOI instead?

Kristina definitely chose not to come back. She had a new boyfriend and wanted to spend more time at home in Canada with him and her family.
