Another Joe won...this time Joey Essex, which I think was a surprise for everyone

Me too! He was in the studio today recording something. Just don't know how he's fitting everything in because his huge tour starts in a week so he's got rehearsals for that with his band, sound and lighting teams. Then he's going to have to prepare for his performances starring as Tommy, and he's working on his 5th album too!! A very busy boy! Hope we might see you at one of his tour dates Patti-Ann?

Here's the link again to Joe's Official Website for details of the Evolution tour announced so far (and for Tommy in September at Blackpool Opera House). There's more tour dates to come I understand

Not to mention he's on the Wright Stuff panel all of next week. I'm thinking this is pretty appropriate right now ...

Thank you so much Soeplepel for coming on to post about Joe being shown on Belgian TV, aww that's great!

Yep Patti-Ann, I watched most of this year's Jump and was pleased for Joey E when he won. I don't think anyone was more surprised than him, lol. But he obviously has natural ability,

*Waves to Jado* - hope to see you at one of Joe's Evolution shows. Not going to the East Grinstead one but I'm sure there will be others we'll both be at Are you coming to the Milton Keynes/Wavendon show? Looks like it could be sold out again early again as it was last year, tickets are selling really well for it. The acoustics are incredible at the Stables

Really looking forward to seeing the new show! Autumn dates of the tour to be announced on 1st March apparently.

i'm tired just thinking of what he's doing and we probably only know half of it. lol
I bet Julia and David, his agents, are already working on bookings for 2016 and we don't even know yet what all the dates in the autumn are...

These people work hard for our entertainment!!

What a superb show Joe has created. Something for everyone and wow did everyone enjoy it. All three shows over the weekend sold out. People were also standing at the sides and sitting on the steps all cramming in to see and hear this talented man and his great band. The place was absolutely buzzing and the cheering and applause was so loud and very emotional. He got four standing ovations and rightly so. What a versatile performer, and that voice is just out of this world! First vid is a personal favourite and thank you to Michelle for this absolutely beautiful vid. I shall just have a swoon

It depends on if he comes near to where I live and if I can get hubby to agree to go too (he's not an XF fan)

Hope you make one Patti-Ann, would be great to meet you finally videos are fine as far as they go but still don't get close to hearing Joe sing live, esp amateur vids.

What a fantastic opening weekend to the Evolution Tour! And as an added bonus we got to see Joe presented with an award and made an honorary fellow of the Customs House Academy for all his contribution to art and culture. A well-deserved award too:

http://www.shieldsgazette.com/what-s...fame-1-7120016

It was just as he was gearing up to introduce his new song too, lol. Which by the way I absolutely LOVE ... so catchy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVstLPO_u1M

and thanks to Paula for her brilliant recording of my favourite part of his fabulous medley which had everyone up on their feet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VIky6pN3mQ

That's what I love so much about Joe's shows ... so varied. Classical crossover songs which showcase his beautiful vocals and fun, dancy stuff usually in the 2nd half which leave you wanting more. And a brilliant sense of humour thrown into the mix
Audience engagement, warmth and fun with Jukebox Joe too which means no 2 shows are ever the same.

Fab opening weekend for the Evolution Tour I don't think I've ever seen Joe as nervous as he was at the first sell out show on Saturday night but it was very sweet when he admitted his nerves to the audience and someone shouted 'you're at home lad!'

And you'd never have guessed Joe had any nerves by the second show yesterday Very special and quite emotional seeing Joe presented with his special award by Ray Spencer MBE

I agree. apart from the fact that he said he was really nervous, I didn't see any nerves. Just him being happy on stage and having fun.

I am loving the new arrangement on The Climb! Wow! those drums.
Matt Billups said on twitter that there were going to be big drums on this tour, and boy, he wasn't lying! It's fabulous.
Proper rock pop show!
I love the fact that there are some beautiful love songs/ballads in the first half following some of the songs that made us love him in the XFactor time, just before the couple of classical numbers.
The second half is so full of energy! I love it. it kind of becomes a bit of a nightclub by the end of the show. And the new Ambitions arrangement is incredible. It's like a new remix on stage!!
Loving it

and just a note on this song, because it always gets me when he sings it:
How We Love... you would hear a pin drop when he sings that song! no matter how big or small the venue is!
