Love this!!

““I’ve taken time out to do it and it has songs which hopefully show growth with a modern edge.””

Personally, I want Joe's 4th album to be pop (up/mid/slower tempo & ballads). I want it to be edgier but still want ballads. I would love some upbeat uptempo happy smiling Joe song. I know that I want to see him smiling in a video because his smile is one of the things that hooks people.
Oh I also want at least more than two songs co-written by Joe on this album.

Most of all I want Joe's voice to shine!

I'm sure I've got more, but that's probably a really good wish list. Whatever he puts on his album will be amazing. I can't wait to hear it.

In the 2nd clip of this interview, towards the end, they ask Cheryl out of all the contestants on XF who stood out the most to her, she replied Joe. Before they bring up Rebecca.

Joe is currently back in the studio, recording new tracks for his forthcoming album which includes exciting collaborations with the chart-topping vocalist, guitarist and songwriter (of Shakespears Sister fame) Marcella Detroit, and the Italian pianist-turned-popstar Ludovico Einaudi.

Joe’s highly-anticipated third album with Universal is due for release in the late autumn."

Sounds fantastic - Einaudi's beautiful music with Joe's beautiful voice and, I would imagine, Marcella Detroit will add a certain edginess. Intriguing

He sang Dance With My Father with just a piano. It was requested that he should sing this! Just shows that those in the know have the greatest respect for our Joe! Why don't the radio stations take note?

Possibly the channel 5 appearance was related to the Street of Dreams promo (purely guessing though) - if so, with that being postponed and having lost his voice, it would make sense for plans to have changed. He's now said he's back in the studio recording from Monday, so hopefully he'll be fully recovered by then.

Loving his replies to fans on twitter about his new album - giving a lot more information away than for previous albums, which is brilliant - though doing nothing to help me rein in my excitement about it

Liked his reply to one tweet today mentioning that he'd just had "an amazing song in today" which they think is going on the album, his own excitement is showing through his tweets, bless him - think this is an album he's going to be especially proud of

The Channel 5 show was to be about Street of Dreams according to my EPG.

I like his new website. It is very interactive and means that he can keep in touch with the fans and vice versa.

The little spots on his jacket are, in fact, anchors! In one photo on Twitter you can see them clearly.
