Happy enough that Little Mix won, because Joe wanted them to win, but didn't watch it at all this year Matt. No disrespect to any other artists or their fans, but it's so contrived now, I think they should have ended it when it peaked in 2009
It has become very contrieved now and the sing off has no point as they never judge it on that performance.

I wanted Amelia to win but overall the talent was quite poor.

It was yes...definitely not doing as many dates this year. Getting too old to be traipsing up and down the country
i will remind you of this post later in the year!!

Ooooh .... totally off subject but I have just share this.
Christmas day I did volunteering at the old folks Christmas Party, I was supposed to be a table helper but had a stinking cold and I as I had my camera in the car (surprise surprise) I ended up being official photographer instead.
The Mayor paid a visit and he wanted me to email the pictures of him interacting with the guests...which I sent today.
I had to send it to the mayors office email address ..... only they didn't get pics of the Mayor. Guess what they got accidentally?

I had to send another email saying 'Obviously the last email wasn't photo's of the Mayor .... but these ones are'
Haha so funny... wonder if hes a fan now...

Completely off topic but who did everyone want to win the X Factor this year?
didnt watch much this year, but glad Little Mix won..think they will do really well..

They should release the videos of all the different songs that have been made from the beginning up til now on a DVD!

evening everyone! great to see joanne back again! I'm from down south too, but am currently at college in hereford for a year. me and georgia are hoping to go to next years tour together which will be fab! we've got a few more friends here who we've converted and want to come too! mandy is one of them, she's lovely, she's from ireland. she has a guidedog and says she will bring Millie along, apparently Millie doesn't mind loud noise and she will be fine. I told her that if Joe meets Millie, he might want to take her home with him! off topic, but i'm applying for my guidedog at easter, so who knows, at the next tour, you might meet mine!

Another page in the Chapter turns. Now at page 10 on the story and journey of Joe McElderry. Joe is such a page turner that it is hard to keep up sometimes.

Just wanted to emphasise again that I am pleased Joe is now with Decca and doing well. I can sometimes see why he may not have been too compatible with his old boss.

Oh dear!

If you want a credible career you really do have to be very careful.

Well done Joe for all the pleasure you bring!

One of the main highlights of 2011 for me was Joe being signed by Universal/Decca. So fantastic that Joe is now with the biggest music company in the world who have done so well for him so far, and who begin work with him on his 4th album after his holiday.

Wonderful news isn't it and not at all what we expected this time last year

I couldn't agree more LL2. Even Joe himself said how much he was enjoying working with such a professional team now he's with Universal / Decca

After reading the last however many pages I now know why I'm skint.
What an amazing year. From the best birthday ever at Lumley Castle in Feb to the most amazing 3 weeks in November finally arriving at the 02 in December to see my 1st ever ballet which I am not ashamed to admit I absolutely loved.
Thanks to you all for such brilliant memories. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.
