I have a certain fondness for Spooky at Newcastle too, in 2010 he played to a packed out, appreciative crowd full of witches, ghosts ... and JoeNuts ... plus of course that's where I first met you and Eva .. So much of a fondness in fact that hunneyt and I decided to trek 250 miles and stand in a f-f-f-freezing field (and a blizzard at one point which was fun
) to be at this year's Spooky event last Friday and see Joe wow another packed out, appreciative and massive crowd (despite the inclement weather) - the cheers after each of his performances were so loud they were ringing in my ears for a couple of days after Thought I'd share these with you guys but sorry they're not the best recordings, I was shivering (I don't know if I mentioned it was a tad chilly?
), kept getting knocked by an overenthusiastic fan near me (no, not hunneyt!) and Joe, as you'll see, kept moving around ... A LOT! True to his word he sang mostly uptempo numbers to try and encourage us all to dance (bit tricky while recording though!) and keep a bit warmer.Anyway - with my apologies for the less-than-top-quality vids made

Fond memories of getting up at 5am :sleep: :yawn: to queue outside HMV Newcastle for wristbands for the Wide Awake album signing later approaching a big, burly security guard in the hope of getting extra wristbands for a couple of crazy Irish women (my wife's gone to Newcastle with a woman she met on the internet 
) and re-arranging the CDs so that Joe was in front of all of the rest of the display 
And then Spooky
Fond memories of getting up at 5am :sleep: :yawn: to queue outside HMV Newcastle for wristbands for the Wide Awake album signing later

I really like what they did to this for radio - much punchier and I know it's not a technical word but the track is 'shaped' better!
