Had my 1st ever (bear) hug from Joe at Rhyl. He asked me for a hug btw.

RFH really was special.
Even though I was lucky enough to go to both Newcastle gigs RFH had a different atmosphere. From the anticipation of all of Joes fans holding their collective breath just praying that the non fans would appreciate Joe as much as we did to utter relief when they did. That standing ovation was something else. Doubt that feeling will ever be repeated.

The stand out memory for me is getting the chance to go for a run along the coast road in South Shields. ”

Nice to see you back on here. You have listed some of my favourite momenets here too.

Last year was brilliant, can't remember how many gigs I went to but do know I loved every one.

My stand out memories of the year have to be:
Lummley, brilliant venue and first time Joe revisited some Xfactor songs, in particular No Regrets, don't think he's done it since.

Potters 1, Tracy making 16 of us so welcome in her house and watching videos of Joe on her enormous TV.

Lo Profile secret Sunday, so up close and personal and Joe on top form, such a lovely club with the cutest staff!

The tour bus, thank you hgm can we book it again for this year, so much fun especially when we decorated it with Joe pics and passers by, plus some paps, thought it was Joe's van as it was parked near the venue in Brighton.

Like everyone else RFH is my favourite tour gig but have to say that I will never ever forget the most embarrassingly wonderful moment when Joe got me on stage during the climb for the final Newcastle gig, I had jokingly said to him in Brighton that he always gets young people on stage why doesn't he ask an older person, so said he would get me on stage if I sat near the front, never in a million years did I think he would actually do it, loved the high five and the 'See I keep my promises' he said!! Have always wanted a special one to one with Joe just didn't think it would be in front of 1500 people!

I've met some lovely people and visited places I've never been to before, listened to the Climb and Don't Stop Believing at every one of them, sat up all hours chatting, laughed a lot, worried a lot about the future for Joe and I want to do it all again this year please!!”

Welcome back to you too, missed you both. Lovely little summary of the year of 2011. One of my most fond moments was also watching SGG being invited onto the stage by the man himself, never screamed so much in my life. I was a proper SGG fangirl.

I absolutely loved the ballet (and Joe of course!) Can't wait to go again, although I think I'll choose a smaller venue to go to next time

Me too, love the ballet too, but not sure the 02 is the right place for it. Good to see Joe back on stage at the 02 though (and not in tights or a tutu for anyone lurking )

I don't usually come on here until this time. Just been watching Hustle!

I hadn't seen any of the cooking footage before as I don't watch (or rather didn't watch) any of Xtra Factor. Thanks for posting.

Hi Gill, you're welcome. There are quite a few more cooking vids, as well as other backstage videos and Joe's diary on YT.

I think quite a lot of them were taken off the XF channel as time moved on but HunneyT has a lot of her channel

Still can't get over how young Joe looks in them

Same here, daren't actually add up how much I spent on the too-ah

One good gig a month for the first half of the year while Joe's recording album #4 would do me just fine

Just seen your last post, hope you feel better soon Hun

I did too and I know what you mean about the 02 but just loved seeing and hearing Joe on that stage with the 72 piece orchestra! What a way to finish the year!

I was just having another listen to Driving Home for Christmas that he sang on Loose Women. Just amazing vocals.

Night hunneyt x

I think that's my favourite performance of all the Christmas Classic songs, he sounded amazing and he looked so chilled singing it

Just realised I forgot about the Hoochie Coochie gig *slaps own forehead*

We did go a bit fast didn't we? Worth it though when we got there. I loved the Hoochie Coochie club and it was so up close and personal with Joe. There were so few tickets available, we were soooo lucky to win some (thank you Smooth Radio)

He was in great voice that night as always and the crowd were actually a lot louder than it sounds weren't they. Lovely night with everyone cheering and singing along. So lucky to be there.

Well Jade will be pleased we finished the review of Joe's 2011 (and it's "only" taken 2 weeks this time - and that's with missing a lot of stuff out!)

Who would have thought Classic, Classic Christmas and Classic Tour would be such a success (those figures are amazing BillieSmith )

Seeing Joe at the 02 was a brilliant way to end 2011 and I still can't quite believe it's been the year it's been.

Can't wait to see what 2012 has in store

Have Universal won the rights to use their music and artists for the London Olympics?
