Very odd that Julia got two film & radio questions already.

And Frankie should look a bit more confident, as that is half the battle.

She looks as if she has smelled something foul.

If Gerard wins I'll simply stop watching. I found him loathsome on Only Connect and can't believe he's pitched up yet again.

She refused Chris twice and paid the penalty.

Pat was not much use again.

The VIcar of Dibley is in the final

lol now I like her.

Although I would still like to have seen Frankie go through

Pat and Kevin haven't been much use as helpers but at least Pat got the wasp question right when Barry made a balls of it.

She did - had she picked Chris, (leaving Julia with Dave) would either he or Lisa have known Explosives question....?

Could have made all the difference in the end.

They have both been surprisingly un-egghead like actually.

Still maintain people are silly not to pick Chris sooner - unless they have a specific Sport/TV blank spot and therefore need Dave's help there, Chris has overall much better general knowledge than he does, and to me he also shades Barry as well.

I think Chris is the weakest guesser on the team which is maybe why contestants are reluctant to pick him

He doesn't seem to be very logical in his thinking if he doesn't know the answer and is noticibly quicker than the others to jump in with a guess

Thank goodness for wide-screen TVs.

He is not there to guess, he is there to give them the answer.

Chris is my favourite. He doesn't learn lists. He knows a lot about subjects that interest him.

All of the eggheads guess if they don't know the answer, or use logic to get to the most likely answer if you prefer putting it that way.

Chris is weaker at this than the others, he often seems to jump in with an answer without giving it much thought.

There's no doubting he's very strong in areas that interest him but, as I've posted before, he doesn't seem to have any time for certain subjects and shows absolutely no inclination to try and improve in them.

He's my favourite egghead too btw

I agree. This giving us detailed answers is not necessary. It doesn't happen in quiz leagues so why now... So irritating
