Hopefully with daphne going and CJ returning, they will just leave it at 7 eggheads, don't want 8 that's far too many.

Quite an entertaining episode tonight. Challengers still got thrashed with 5 eggheads to 1 in the final but somehow it seemed to gel really well.

It seems to have gone back to Dermot tonight. Is this still the same series or is it an old one repeated?
He did say at the beginning that the challengers won yesterday which is true but is that just co-incidence? |

It's a repeat, there was no Pat and Dave in the titles.

Yup. Just seen the 2008 roman numerals roll up at the end of the closing credit notes. Thank you though.

Great news that Daphne is going..
![]() Terrible news that CJ is coming back following his failed acting career. ![]() ![]() ![]() , bloody hell, I don't think I can take it, I'm gonna have to stop watching.[/QUOTEHe can't be coming back pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. The pair of the lousy show offs and bad sports gone forever would be the best thing for Egghead's future. I know too many people who have given up on it because of these two!I Sky Plus it , fast forward the drivel and don't look at their disgraceful antics either. There could be a whole extra category the way they all ramble on about nothing

Another Murnaghan episode tonight. I assume the current series has run out and it's repeats all the way until the next one.
BTW. The dreaded CJ has appeared in tonight's one. He's been playing it relatively straight. |

I don't dislike CJ as much as others do. Certainly he plays up somewhat but he does have credentials unlike "No Knowledge Dave".

Another repeat today with Jeremy Vine this time. 4 games in to the eggheads, prize is 4 grand.
Bunch of kids for the challegers team, all under 25 except one of them who is 30. 1st subject politics. Can I guess the way this'll go? |

re. The prize money. I wish they'd set the starting amount to £5000. I don't like it when they're only playing to try to win £200 each. Seems like a whole of effort for almost no possible reward.

The best bit was watching Barry give their final (wrong) answer two thumbs up. Nice one, Bazza.

Yes indeed! It was a pleasant surprise I must admit. Admittedly the challengers got through on mostly guesses which is never good, but yes, quite amusing seeing Barry get that last one wrong.

[/b] It happens all the time when there's a repeat of an old edition. The running total on the repeats always follows on from the newest series ended. And rhe eggheads lose the last show of a set of repeats before they come back live with £1,000 in the pot. |
