At first i was like WTF but I wonder if she is hiding a message in there. Is she saying something about Madonna's DNA? and her opinion on the current influx of female popstars perhaps??

It'll probably just be things like "what makes me me?".

It could be a retrospective I suppose. She has had a divorce since her last album so had stories to tell.

I quite like the title M.D.N.A
To be honest I don't care what she calls the album, I just want the music to be fantastic and blow me away. Some will hate it and some will love it as always,

Some will judge it without even listening, some will because it's Madonna or because she's over 30.

Well as soon as I saw the album title I immediately thought of the drug 'MDMA'. I don't know how to explain this, but I see the album title as being MDMA, but 'Madonna MDMA'. So basically, Madonna drug. Judging my the first single, the track fits the album title!! Maybe that's just me over thinking it lol.

pretty sure it's a reference to recreational drug MDMA... and is it actually called M.D.N.A? i thought it was just 'MDNA', no dots?

MDNA, addictive, sophsticated ecstacy! there are so many interpetations into this.

MDNA, MDMA!

MDNA, what makes me me, cloning? cybernetics, the punky vibes of the photoshoot rumoured.

We know next to nothing and i love that this title is very WTF! Cannot wait to see what concepts she will use with this....the title is the smallest aspect, but we now have a name for it!

i like the title, its rather clever and quite a simple concept at the same time. who`s knows where she is going with this and that is the exciting part. her reported collaborations suggests that the lead single is throwaway and not to be taken seriously. while the album title suggests that it may be quite a personal record.

Definitely! I think it may be part of the tongue in cheek vibe...like one of her cheesy songs with The Breakfast Club meets New Wave maybe? Either way it will be a fun, vibrant anthemic tune!

But the rest of the album wil ldefinitely tell another story.

And yeah i too love that you can take the title in so many ways...so exciting!

Some more have stated that the title can also be an allusion to the fact that everyone knows her by one name only, and also that her debut was simply titled "Madonna"

To this day I and a few others agree....the album should have been Sticky & Sweet!

Yeah its like she is evoking a lot of her earlier style with a mix of old skool Hollywood regal looks.

Cannot wait....i mean the way she is styled now, you would have no idea she has been working on some intense dance routines for the era

M. D. N. A. or MDMA - both are good. It's like a statement; it's like starting over again.

I like the name, but tbh who cares what an albums called its about the quality of the album that counts.

I cant wait to hear the new album.

If the title alone can generate so much buzz within 70 mins....just think about the hype of the album material.

I think if the title MDNA creates so much meaning, hopefully the majority of the songs will too and i think they will...that standard is high...i am ready for her to succeed the boundaries
