Yesterday, when the Japanese iTunes had a clip of the song and it seemed to be exactly the same as the demo, I gave up most of the hope I had.

Today, when I got back from school I watched the video, I thought it was actually amazing. It definitely elevates the song up to another level, it just seems to work in a way that the song doesn't on its own. I still like the song, and its gotten a much better reception than I thought it would actually, there's some people disappointed but w/e, I think it's best appreciated for what it is, a fun, silly, careless, catchy pop song. My favourite bit is where M is 'falling' from the building, the football players catch her, and she gives that look to the camera, she just looks amazing :L

If it's sold between 1 to 2 million copies already that's amazing, things are only going to get better hopefully with the Super Bowl.

That awkward moment when Madonna sells a quarter of her previous album's sales in the first day of pre-orders.
Haha....preaching the truth! goes to show what the blend of returning music legend, mass hype, sustained promotion, organisation can achieve

Things that Hard Candy had pinches of in a year of music awckwardness (do we download? do we buy physical? does it sell itself? Are Duffy, Amy WInehouse and COldplay the only artists out this year? etc.etc.)

But MDNA....woah mama! Hold yer hats...this is just the beginning!

Sweet...there are too many moments in the video to mention...I love that about it...its a feast for the eyes.

And I am pleased with the reactions...usual "bashes here and there" but overall so positive!....much more than 4 Minutes was as far as i remember!

And yes it has been reported that within the first 6 hours it had sold over 1 million digital copies on pre-order and around 1.4million already....that is freakin incredible.

I mean I always am there for the music first and foremost...then imagery then sales are last resort (if it ships big then great if not, its overlooked) BUT damn these sales already are mahoosive!

I just heard the megamix and Girls Gone Wild sounds immense, TUTR also sounds good. Both are better than GMAYL but that was probably chosen as lead due to the Minaj MIA connection

Yeah....Seriously was so excited about WIld since announced and it sounds....massive! Like if i play it my speakers will start sweating

And Turn Up The Radio has a Neo-70s style about it i like...will be infectious i think. And Luvin i think really works for a lead...it generates hype, Nicki and MIA are there and it is a fun catchy song Anti-Current Pop! Its brilliant....but the video makes it better

Is there a solo version of Give Me All Your Luvin'? I can't stand Nicki Minaj, I have nothing against rappers at all, Missy Elliott and Eminem are legendery, but Nicki just talks utter shite. I'm dissapointed with what M.I.A brought to the song as well, her part was really forgettable, I was kinda interested what she would bring, but she just liked using the word 'Sh*t' in the song apparently.

The demo that leaked had only M so I don't know whether you can find that floating around and it's pretty identical to the final cut

Two Questions

First, Is the video on Madonna's YouTube yet?

Secondly, how long is MDNA available for on iTunes?

They just played GMAYL on Radio 2 and it was minus Nikki (strangely still had MIA though)

First; I don't think so. It's not on her Vevo either.

Second; I've no idea, actually - I think someone mentioned a week?

Damn. Why won't that show up on my phone?

She had a Vevo created for her new deal, and I could view it on that app - why hasn't she used it?

Anyway, thanks for posting. Just watched it again.

Hell yes! I love how cute she looks when she changes styles in the video! Its like Madonna, reinvents her style, her looks, her sound but she is still the same lady!

And she is doing the Super Bowl for free too! the NFL said that the kind of exposure it is rare for a performer to get paid...and Madonna said she will do it for free just YES

Cannot wait to see it! Hear it....its gonna be so immense!

WOW at those iTunes figures! She just raises the bar every time! Are they the album chart numbers though? If they are does anyone know what number GMAYL is now on UK iTunes? Thanks

The sales dont count until March 26th...which will be a mahoosive week for MDNA.

Approx 2 million digital pre-orders and number 1 in 50 out of 51 countries (number 2 in Aus at the moment) Madonna has broken her record and set a new one already

I think Luvin is number 14 on the UK chart itunes or something although not entirely certain.

Australia are probably still pissed that she never goes there on tour! They are trying to teach her a lesson

While I think the song is good/ok and not amazing...I have to give credit to her marketing/PR team for the way they are handling this release.

Everything seems to have been timed impeccably, from the release of the album title, to the album artwork, to the video's premier on a big rated show in American Idol...to tomorrows performance at the Super Bowl.

that may seem so simple to do...but we see so many labels messing it up by either releasing the song/video so late that the hype has died down...or vice-versa putting the song on iTunes before people know the song is out.

I agree. It's all so well organised as compared to some. They definitely did the right thing by releasing the song and the video at the same time. It's all been so instant yet at the same time has had no real fanfare.

I don't know it's it's Madonna herself, or her new record label, but they sure are pulling out all of the stops for this.

Any clips or leaks of the remixes yet-presumably will be on the main standalone single release?
