Queen Ifrica anyone?
I found her on youtube by chance and was going to buy her album as I instantly became a fan but having just heard this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK-gwtE0rd0 I can't work out if she is homophobic or not? The songs message isn't fully clear but it sounds wrong which is a shame as I really liked her but this has put me off a little. I know Jamica has a reputation of being the most homophobic place on earth so I am torn on what to think. Opinions. |

I have no time for people like her, no matter how good the music is.

I know I am so disappointed. You think it is homophobic?

I've heard that song before along with a number Queen Ifrica's songs and while the meaning isn't exactly clear I think it's fair to assume it is. Like you said Jamica has very different culture to the UK so I wouldn't really take offence different cultures have different ideals ect. If you still like the album I wouldn't let this one song put you off buying it not every singer is going to have the same beliefs as you so I wouldn't let it bother you.
