It appears to me they are- money is something these guys never probarly had and they have been a huge success since X Factor and have pots loads of money but they stink of a hunger for fame, money and adulation to me...

or is it me?

Seriously, do the grown up thing and acknowledge the fact that not everybody likes JLS.

I completely agree with what the person has said, they seemed like they had their heads screwed on when they first went on the X factor but now money has taken over completely. As long as they are making money the record label won't give two shits.

Well we should start taking bets on how long they have got, because as a poster said on here the other day, there 'core' audience will grow up and the new 'teenies' will want something else.

Its only a matter of time now-hence why they probably are making as much as they can-who can blame them?

Dont get me wrong-they seem like a nice bunch of guys and do have some talent, but I think the route they have gone musically will prove a huge mistake ultimately. They should have been aiming for a much broader fan base than the one they have and developed there sound more. Instead its throw in a few more 'oh oh oh' and got for that generic hybrid electro/dance/(c)rap sound that is now starting to sound dated and painfully embarrassing.

Yes you may feel that way but seriously is it the grown up thing to keep stating that all the time? And im not saying its you, im saying in general, almost every other day theres a thread on 'how jls are crap' or 'losing it'

JLS are still getting number ones, and their songs are alrite, i like them and so do others but we dont feel the need to keep telling eveyone about it all the time, unlike those who dislike them

I don't know why the knifes are out for JLS. They are still head and shoulders above The Wanted. The latters success is a complete mystery to me. They are appalling live and cannot even dance.

lol i have to agree, the wanted have a large backing by the media, they come on almost every show and are constantly on the radio. I think that is what makes them sell songs, but you're right, when they singing and dancing live, they are quite poor. Im surprised that they're touring in america soon, and even came on ellen to perform. They clearly have a rich person behind them who pulls out all the stops to get them recognised

I used to really like JLS.. All through The X Factor and through to the release of their debut album but each album since has become more generic and made them more harder to like..

Aston is a great singer and probably could be successful on his own..

I lost respect for them when they said this in an interview (not sure who said it)..

"This isn’t a band, it’s a business]. It’s our business and each of us works at it 24/7. That’s the deal. None of us is stupid, each of us knows it could all end tomorrow so we have to maximise what we have when we have it"

Especially since Aston said this was all he ever wanted to do..

I actually do understand that not everyone likes JLS But, like an earlier poster said to you, is it really grown up to keep posting all these negative threads about JLS? I don't start any negative threads, or tell anyone to 'grow up'.
