After reading the thread about Love Cats hate Dog... I have realised that I just can't live with cat owners any more. All those posts about, my cats cute, my cats crazy, I am a mad cat person just leave me puking - even reading the ttles. And it would seem the feeling can be mutual.

So mods can we have two sub forums, cats and dogs? That way we can happily ignore each other. The main forum could be used for general questions and .. er .. hamsters and the like.

What about the many of us who like both cats and dogs? Surely you can't dislike cats so much that you can't even read a thread title. I think the pet forum is predominantly used by cat owners anyway and a separate dog forum wouldn't get used as much so probably not worthwhile splitting!

I am a cat lover and not keen on dogs (I am very allergic to them) but I have no problems with people posting about their dogs. You need to learn to be more tolerant

I have pet cats and a pet dog - I don't want separate forums!! I think its great to hear about everyones mad cats, and mad dogs for that matter!!

Liking cats and dogs isn't mutually exclusive. It's not like supporting Man City or Man United or whatever. Cat and dog lovers get on fine together in this forum. It's not like some of the other forums on here, (most) people don't go onto a dog thread to tell them they hate dogs and stir them up, this is a very civilised forum compared to some of the others on DS.
