Would rather see a dog dressed up and loved than one neglected..doesnt mean I approve..but as long as they dont mind then I dont see the harm.

I once put a set of antlers on an alice band around my dog's back.

She refused to MOVE till they were removed

Good luck trying to get my Amber into clothes is all I can say!!

She'll have your arm off at 10 paces if she thought you were trying to "dress" her

I'm going to buy my cat some leg warmers later, but if he doesn't like them i'll take them off! If he doesn't mind I'll take a photo

When I was about 5 or 6 I used to put dolls clothes including a bonnet on one of our cats and put him in the Dolls pram he was a lovely cat and had such a soft nature that he didn't make a fuss and just let me do it to him. I wouldn't put anything on my cat now maybe a bit of tinsel at Christmas time but it would come off almost straight away.

Grooming is important to a cat so wouldn't leg warmers, or any sort of coat, interfere with that? Dogs don't groom themselves which may be why many tolerate wearing garments

By the way - I was in the park earlier last year and saw no fewer than three old ladies with dogs in prams

They didn't have any in there today anyway, guess they sold out

I'd only put them on him for short periods of time so I could revel in his adorableness

When I was in New England a couple of years back my Mum kept on seeing this woman walking a cat in a pram with the cat dressed up in baby clothes
