Oh yes it's been walking that line but along the way it's lost the plot

Still anything can happen in fiction

Lovely way to start, I've got a feeling that it might take us a while to get through this thread though because I don't reckon much is going to happen for a while.

*awaits murder storyline*

We got through them surprisingly quick, even during the three month blackhole.

Basically, we rush through threads when:

A) There's lots of screentime
B) There's lots of spoilers
C) The show is pissing us off

We'll be fine.

You're right MrL, blackholes can be the busiest because we often get either lots of spoilers or go insane from withdrawals and talk Olympic amounts of shite.

We will be fine.

A's not happening for a few weeks, I reckon we might get a few new spoilers to do with Allehh and find out what Ste's new job will be and C will continue for the foreseeable future

*gets ready to bitch about Ste's new job being rubbish*

*gets ready to cry over Stally*

That should be fun.

Well, let's face it, some of our busiest months were Note-filled months.

Simpler, simpler days....

If part 76 was the black chapter, prepare for this to be the chapter of woe

Kerrclang! That was a sudden new part.

Freespirt, I always thought the promotion was odd too.

From a writers POV they seemed to be pushing an interesting storyline with chemistry and passion but with domestic violence also, and illustrating the complexity and the tragedy of it all, the glimpses of "what could be" (if only things were different) amongst the realities of a sad situation.

But somewhere along the way the marketing for it seemed to forget the domestic violence and anger issues being part of it as well and just went for the "ooh passion" route over twitter and FB etc which I always thought was slightly irresponsible for viewers who might be easily swayed.

(I'm aware that that sounds very condesending and uppity, but it's just what I think. After all, Television owes me nothing.
I end up having similar rants about how Twilight is bad for young women and it's just a book for Christ's sake and Hollyoaks is just a soap! I seem to have entered a ranting stage in my life.)

Isn't Father Francis in that shaking his thang?

Or have I got comepletely the wrong film? dance fims all merge into one in my head
Google reveals it to be Streetdance 3D. Obviously totally different and not at all similar. That extra D obviously adds a whole new level!

Aww Father Francis. forever in my heart.

Anyhow.......Positivity and all that!
Thread 77 aka. The Thread of Positivity.

They were not simpler days.

We worried over allsorts during that bloody story.

Brendan seducing Noah, someone getting hit when Law let slip about punches being thrown, all of that.

They were stressy days, them.

Hello new part!

Yeah I've always thought the promotion was odd in a way, particularly at times when they'd go "Ooh Stendan reunited/snog," knowing the scene or the episode after ended in violence, e.g. Cat Friday.

In a way I can't blame them due to the popularity and also the way the story took a different route other than the "typical" DV route, like Amy and Ste.

Good point.

Cat Friday/First seduction spoilers all happening in the space of 24 hours. Horrid. Horrid times.

I do miss Law and his big gob though.

Ugh, I hated Note. I really did. Longest six/seven months of my life, that.

Speaking of Law, he doesn't go on Twitter anymore like, at all, but I had a look at his tweets the other day and he's still got "Currently playing Noah in Hollyoaks." in his bio thing.

BIB: Ha, yes!

"Stendan are back on!!!!!"

*Ste gets punched*

I think they can get away with it if we are in some sort of long-term redemption story with Brendan. But, if, in the end, they send Brendan to jail because he's a very bad, abusive man, I'd feel terribly cheated indeed.

It was a horrific time. Stally can't be as bad, surely?

He does?! I could have sworn he removed it months ago! Oh Lord, he be coming back.

When is Ally appearing, anyone know yet?
*thinks she may have asked this before, if so sorry for being a plank*

Also, the entire Richard Winsor tag Lman?? Really?? Was that necessary? Although the stars and stripes pants did amuse me.

It's still there, LMan.

Though I feel a little sorry for him, cos you know, it's still there. Like a constant reminder of the failure that character was.

It might mean he's coming back, you know.

Tom Felton does a sexy evil face.

ETA: Stally could be as bad, love.

We should brace ourselves. Just incase.

Early February, I think?

YES. YES, IT WAS NECESSARY.

It's still there, LMan.

Oh dear. How awkward. I still find it awkward that he filmed some of his final scenes, the day that Emmett, Kieron and Alice won Best Triangle.

Yeah, truth be told, it could be. I have no faith in Dan.

Oh Quizzy you make me laugh
Oh shut your face, you.

One day I will put some effort in and cap bath-time-George and then Lman will be sorry he ever assaulted me with images of Father Francis.

You giveth the info and then you giveth the Winsor bum.
I imagine a little angel and a little devil sat on your shoulders.
