I'm pretty sure local bars/restaurants/nightclubs pay CBS to host casting nights at their establishments, which probably covers travel expenses for the hapless producers and interns. Not to mention former BB competitor turned casting guru Erika who always multitasks - find bodies for shows and personal romance. These casting sessions are always pooled into other programmes as you know. Some can apply for Survivor and wind up on Big Brother (April of Ollie non-fame), some apply for Big Brother and end up on Survivor (wasn't this the case with both Cirie and the hyper-irritating Sash?) with the remnants collecting at the bottom of the Amazing Race trough. Long story short, they tend to do full castings each year even when they plan on bringing back overexposed prior competitors. It's not expensive for them. |

I just don't comprehend how anyone could find Jessie attractive. Even taking that face aside, that body is just monsterous..

I personally like the fact that he sleeps 18 hour days, judging by his BB stints. Just put him in a dark room with a tumbler of Muscle Milk and it's like he's not even there.

From Survivor Sucks
Well there are 2 media days. The first one is this Friday 6/22. That is when media members go into the house and "play" BB for the day. The 2nd one is 7/2 and that is when the media has access to the sequestered houseguests for the first interviews. Info from both days will be released later that week when we get the house and cast reveal. But they def. drop some hints on twitter on both days so try to follow a bunch of them. |

Latest rumour is that HGs will have ex-HGs to mentor them. Could be good, depending on how they did it I guess.

Must remember to subscribe to the feeds whilst the early bird offer is on. It might be only $10 discount, but that pays for the conversion fee my credit card usually charges me.

Can you explain how the feeds work if you're in the UK? I'm a first-timer and wanna understand the process. Send me a PM!

![]() I can't understand why they'd block other countries from watching though, surely the more money the better? I'd happily pay for the feeds. |

The live feed is to support the main programme which is supported by ads. As you're not a resident of the country broadcasting the show, you're not considered a consumer of the ad product and you don't contribute to ratings. In short, unless I see you in that Wendy's drive-thru in two hours you don't exist.

Apparently some people are still buying this Mentor twist, and apparently Mike Boogie is one of the mentors. Ugh! How can he mentor anyone without Will telling him what to do?

Janelle is a mentor too apparently. But is considering backing out because the doesn't want people to think she is a bad mother.

I don't understand how this mentor thing would work. Would they physically be in the house, or just friendly aides at home?
To be honest, I'd be horrified if Janelle was my mentor. Other than "win everything" I think the advice she could give would be limited! I would like to see her again though.

Living in the house apparently. Getting paid $20,000 to take part, plus their weekly stipend. However if their "student" wins then they $100,000 (in place of the $20,000 and stipend).

The mentor thing sounds odd. Not sure how I feel about it. Though I would be pleased to see Janelle again...

. The only people impacting the game should be the players, the ex HGs should either be playing completely or completely out.
