So we may be offered two games for the price of one; a regular BB with ten new HG's and four All Stars competing against each other by proxy. I suppose it will be an improvement to see the new HG's being advised/manipulated by All Stars, than by the DR.

I know that both Janelle and Rachel can be interesting to watch and after all, CBS have a TV show to make. But for Live Feeders, I would have preferred more strategic choices: Jun (if possible) and Danielle. Much though I revere Chilltown, Boogie without Will means I would have chosen to see ED again.

I witnessed the whole Janelle fake picture as it happened live on Twitter in the early hours of this morning and it was crazy. Straight away someone found the image and the tweet was removed then she started sending really horrible tweets which were so out of character it made it obvious. Also Dan has planned a 'vacation' starting today as well and Rachel is already apparently on her vacation tweeting a picture from Costa Rica (which is also probably from the past) and Boogie...well no-one cares about him.

I personally like the mentor idea as long as the mentors have a direct effect on the game and they are acting on their own self-interest rather than carrying out the producers wishes all of the time. I would have swapped Boogie and Rachel for Danielle BB3 or Jun BB4 as well as I loved their gameplaying on their seasons. Even Daniele BB8/13 would have been good again but she said she wouldn't do it.

So from today, all the newbies and mentors are in hiding - exciting!

Just like last season, the CBS handlers on their twitter accounts made it obvious by tweeting really obvious tweets to try and put people off but had the opposite effect. And also, Daniele was doing Rumor Control with Ragan and she managed to go into the house still, and people are saying Janelle can't be going in because she is doing superpass this year...

Yeah I tried watching Survivor but it wasn't my type of show. I have heard there is some connection with contestants from the same people who revealed the mentor twist for BB.

Dan is the best choice, his strategy was fantastic.

TBH if I was a houseguest i'd be pretty pissed at this 'mentor' twist, I'd want to play my own game in my own style.

Again I've only ever watched the feeds last season to get the whole picture, but what was Dan's strategy apart from throwing competitions until he actually needed to start winning? Loads of people are a fan of his so he must have been more clever than just throwing competitions and I never really got the whole hype about him from the show itself.

yeah i agree. if i won this season with this twist. i wouldn't feel like i won it by myself.

Just signed up to Superpass as I want to watch the first Superpass show Monday night (11pm BST).

The BB12 & 13 Flashback is geo-blocked (symptom is the "loading ..." message never goes away). Hotspot Shield doesn't fix it, but connecting with my VPN did. This happened last year but HS started working OK nearer the launch date.

There was weirdness with us trying to watch the Glass House feed - HS worked for some but not others. Did anyone work out what the variable is?

Clips from earlier seasons and promo stuff not geo-blocked.

Hotspot works fine for me on flashback, I didn't realise it didn't work for some! Maybe they issue a number of different proxy IP addresses, and the system recognises some of them as proxies and blocks them, but some others it doesn't recognise as a proxy?

I am coming around to the mentors idea... Any excuse for more Janelle surely can't be a bad thing, and Dan deserves another shot at something. As long as Bookie isn't involved, I can tolerate Rachel and she will bring the drama, but I am not sure how I would feel if she were my mentor as much as I adore her. And Boogie - yeah, he is disgusting, but whatever. I guess he was the next best thing to Will...

I liked Samoa Laura, she was cut-throat and a good bitch. But I imagine if she were involved she wouldn't be getting billed as a previous Survivor contestant if you know what I mean. She's certainly not an all-star or anything.

PS. I think we should be grateful that Dan and not Jeff is the male hero. And that Boogie and not Jessie is the male villain... I imagine they were backup choices so its pleasing that Dan and Boogie agreed.
