18.5 would have been about right, but maybe I missed a bit due to all the long shots.

He was good, but not that good. When they start with such high marks I wonder where else they can go?

I thought his marks were spot on. A great performance.

Didn't float my boat and I do think he was over marked considering it was his first week.

I thought he was really good tonight and was deservedly at the top of the leaderboard.

I thought he was great - plus it looks like he has a great partner - ideally suited.

The marks are for tonight only, so it's pointless to say there's nowhere to go. Another week, another choreography and the panel mark that from a different view point. So for the ones who stay in for a long time, if they performed the same dance again they would be expected to dance it much better and if not the marks would be reduced.

Compared to the other males, I thought Matthew did well and was marked accordingly.
He led his partner, he lifted her, he danced well and in time.
I didn't have a clue who he was, I don't 'fancy' him, but I think he skated well and in a partnership which Sebastien didn't do as well.

he plays david in emmerdale. i dont fancy him as such either but i am a little biased as i've met him and actually danced with him (at one of the emmerdale fan club weekends) he was still amazing though

Seb was good as a solo skater, but poor as a partner and it showed.

He deserved 5 points just for making Debbie Dingle smile. Not an easy feat.

She's a miserable cow isn't she? The character, not the actress obv. I don't watch Emmerdale but whenever I switch it on she's stood there with a face like a smacked arse.

Seb's performance was too bitty and individual for me. Matthew danced as part of a couple.
