was meant to rejoin the judging panel this series alongside Robin, Louie and the new girl. I was sure I read that somewhere?

No, she's happy to be amongst the skaters...she'll be more happier NOT to see Jason on the panel this series!!

Yes, I don't think she should have ever been on the ice panel in the first place. As coach, she sees the contestants every day and therefore it's hard to remain objective. She always did mark them 1 or 2 points higher than they really deserved.

Agree. Not sure why she's there at all except as Chris's latest squeeze - her husband's a much better coach IMHO

And a much nicer person , he is a lovely man and certainly didn't deserve to be treated so badly .

I thought she looked a bit bored myself. She probably misses having someone to argue with!

I feel quite sorry for her , because when ITV no longer want DOI she won't see Chris for dust!

Totally disagree with that. Karen always found it hard to be critical but I always thought she marked fairly.

They got together sometime before the last series. Chris split from his wife and not long after was seen out and about with Karen, who was still married at the time. I like to think that was the reason why Karen was removed from the judging panel and made to sit over with the contestants on her naughty step!

I don't think I would use the word lovely to describe someone who cheats on her husband and leaves her children.

I don't think its take a genius to work it out !. Her children are teenagers who still need a mother. Imagine the embarrassment of having your mothers affair plastered over the papers. Completely selfish.

I was just wondering as you talk as if you know her, the papers are not always true, some say she cheated, others say they were already separated at the time, including her children.

Oh, does it really matter? I liked Karen as a judge and thought she was fair and knowledgeable, if a little emotional. She's obviously a good coach too. I like the judging panel but it wouldn't worry me to see Karen as a fourth judge.

We don't know her or her husband personally and nobody except the couple really knows what's gone on in their relationship.

Well we aren't her husband, are we. My point is that there could have been a reason why she felt she couldn't live with him any more but WE DON'T KNOW.

This is a discussion forum for people to put their views across and IMHO someone who has an affair and risks having it plastered all over the tabloids hurting and embarrassing their family is not a lovely person.

But unless you know her and her husband personally you don't know the full story, do you? And TBH I just want them to be good judges/coaches, I don't really care whether someone on TV that I don't know is "lovely" or not.
