Loss of Channels on Freesat

Hi All
I am new to this forum and am looking for some advice. I have just installed a Samsung Freesat+ Box and initially I received all the channels promised perfectly.
I am running from a single LNB. I later installed a Splitter with D Pass and again initially I received all the channels I could receive prior to the splitter being installed. A short time later we lost some of the Movie channels and was getting the message check connection and signal cable. When I disconnect the second cable from the splitter that is connected to the second connection on the Freesat Box all the movie channels reappear.
Any advice on what the issue may be would be appreciated.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
Tony

Trying to split a single lnb cable to feed two tuners is near certain to fail. Apart from the signal loss only 1 tuner can control the lnb so the box won't work properly. Only the Foxsat-hdr can use two tuners on a single cable because it's designed to have a second tuner that can be loop fed from a single input. You will have to get a second lnb connection to make the box work properly.

Thanks for the feedback Graham. However I cannot understand why it worked perfectly originally.
