A shame Mark went, I know he wasn't a great skater but to be fair Charlene never actually let go of her partner, she may have looked more graceful but imo Mark skated better. But, yes, in the long run it is better for Sam now as the vote won't be split.

Hmmm... the twist pits him against Chico - which is a bit unfair IMO as Chico has got 2 pts more than him on both performances...

I agree, it's obvious the judges will go for Chico unless he really messes up. It's just an unnecessary confidence knock for Sam really isn't it?

Yeap - Chico is a given to go through - Louis loves him and he does skate well. Whereas Sam still has a bit to go and unless he 'finishes his lines' etc Louis aint gonna vote him through

Chemmy's got it easy as well - she picked the right week last week to give a duff performance.

You can count me as a member of this group. Sam was so much better than I was expecting, and he seems lovely. I think that him and Alex have by far the best celeb/pro relationship, they're a joy to watch together. I agree with the prediction for Sunday with the silly twist, so I'll be voting!

As expected Chico went through - have to say though barring Jorgie and Matthews duel, Chico vs Sam was the best.

chuffed hes through! i want him and chico to be the final two, not that itll happen. its just that the so-called top 2 arent that great (in comparison to ray et al), and they are the two that entertain me the most.

I'm guessing they're gonna have a slower routine this week, as they've had 3 uptempos in a row now.

Also I guess with the comments about working on their connection that a slower song would help that too.

Hopefully they dont get the 1st/2nd spot again!

Hey I love this thread! Have been supporting Sam from the start so nice to see there are others who feel the same.

Every week he's so great to watch, he has no "showbiz" airs and graces and what you see is what you get. Come on Sam!!

ive been watching them again and i cant believe only louis picked up on it- sam and alex are amazing as a partnership. aside from chico and jolene, i dont get that from anyone else!

Enjoying Sam, he always makes me smile when he comes on. sat here watching Dancing on ice with my dog on my knee, he likes it too.
