Thought he skated well - although hew did look nervous leading up to the lift... Hopefully he's done enough

He's always so endearing to watch on the ice. I also love that he's got good skating skills which some other contestants lack still.

His agent (@RachelWood77) has tweeted tonight saying she didn't like the look of the leaderboard. Haven't see the whole show yet, whereabouts was Sam?

Yet again I loved Sam and Alex! I really like their partnership and hope he's done enough to avoid the skate off this evening! I'll be really annoyed if he ends up in the SO because of inflated marking for certain other people

Also, why on earth are Sam and Alex always in the first few skaters to do their routines It's so unfair and I'm pretty sure they've always been in the first 3 couples to skate (otherwise they've definitely always been in the first half)

Have a feeling he'll be in the bottom two tonight, I really hope not though

Yeah Sam and Alexandra should never have been in the skate off. He looked so nervous when the results were being called out, I think he was expecting it.

Fingers crossed this spurs him on to step up another gear next week

I want next week - a later slot and possibly a slower routine so he can focus on his lines and pleasing Louis.

He has had nothing but uptempo routines, so would be good to see something a little different

Seems like Sam loves his routine tonight. I figured it'd be a slowy 'cause of the romantic theme but he also says it has something "exciting". Intruinging...

It's a shame he wasn't in the show last year instead as he'd have had more chance of winning, the quality of talent wasn't as high as this year.

Good that he had a different type of performance this week.

That was brill from Sam tonight and he so deserved to be 5th on the leaderboard. I also hope he's not the the SO this week - I'm pretty sure if he's not that they will call his name fairly early on in the results as well so he can relax a bit.

And he appears to have reasonable basic skating skills (certainly looks more capable than at least 3 others) so should be hopefully do ok with the ultimate skills stuff *fingers crossed*

Think he will do well in the skills test - he can skate well + I think sometimes its the performance element that holds back the score (ie Louis).

chuffed for the samster! and i thought he was slightly undermarked.... but a step in the right direction. fingers firmly crossed for next week! and how cute is mark in the audience? looks like he's as stressed as the rest of us!

Hope Sam and Alex skate well tonight... I think he's had an injury this week - so hopefully doesn't affect the skate tonight too much.

I'm hopeing the scores are good (C'mon Louis).... as with the 3 way SO I think he could be in danger, He should be fine at the skills sets though... I guess it just depends who he's against!

I loved the look on Karen Barber's face at his marks though -I think he was undermarked again this week!

Fingers crossed his knee continues to get better and that he can come out again and smash it next week.

So Sam ends up undeservingly in the skate off because of stupid voting... but he stepped his performance up and can go out on a high.

Such a lovely guy, I'm really going to miss watching him.
