Am I the only person who can't stand Philip Schofield?

I don't dislike Philip, he's fine at what he does. Having said that though I feel that DOI would be perfectly watchable with another decent presenter. I was surprised when ITV gave him that megabucks golden handcuffs deal (and could say the same for Christine too).

There are some shows where the presenters are crucial to the success of the show but I don't think DOI is one of them. I'd probably stop watching the jungle if Ant & Dec stopped doing it as I feel they make that show but would happily watch DOI with someone else at the helm.

I can't see what there is to dislike about him. He does a good enough job in presenting DOI but then I don't watch it for his contribution.

I've never had anything particularly against him over the years but on DOI the one thing I can't stand is the ridiculously overly dramatic tone he speaks in for the voice overs when they show the films of each contestant in training. When he says something like "...but as the week progresses he/she is finding things increasingly difficult..." he speaks in such a stupid OTT dramatic way you'd think someone had died! That does annoy the hell out of me, lol.

Me too. Someone has bruised their knee in training and he puts on his Huw Edwards voice as if the third Gulf War has broken out

Hope someone points Phillip in this direction on Twitter

Can't stand his smug, self satisfied, smirking face, or his loud voice, he's such a phony # # # #.

I dislike his random shouting/dramatic phrasing and I though his mention of Jorgie and her pants/wedgie was a bit distasteful.

I quite like him but it does annoy me how he goes on about twitter all the time.

Loved his kung fu on Sunday.

His " I am in charge on this show" attitude came out and pissed me off last weekend when Nina Ulanova asked if she could hold the microphone while she was answering a question about something.

In no uncertain terms she was told NO by Philip... it was his and no one else was getting it !!

He also must have 80% of the presenting role with Christine relegated to a bit part extra!

I don't mind him, although that look he does to the camera every time he cracks a joke is really irritating

I thought this as well. She is young enough to be his daughter and he was talking about her knickers

This is what you have a younger female co-host for. That was the kind of thing Tess could talk about in Strictly. Philip is arrogant enough to think its appropriate for him to same the same type of things as she does. I'd rather they gave Blakely something to do interviewing the skaters after they come off the ice.

I'm not a fan of Phillip these days but to be fair to him, it was Jorgie who raised the subject of her knickers in the first place when she said that it was her knickers that saved her and he was asking what she was talking about - well, mostly anyway. The wedgie joke was beyond merely asking for clarification.

That was the bit that came across as creepy. In Strictly it would be Tess not Brucie that made a joke like that. That's the problem with the fact that they don't give Blakely much to do. Someone has to discuss the wardrobe malfunctions and I'd rather it not be creepy old Phil.
