Spiteful Clarity

Apparently it is 'spiteful' to express a negative comment about Chelseeeee - or maybe anybody else. So, I looked it up. To be spiteful is to be malicious, venomous and to bear a grudge.

Hmm. Not sure how saying Chelsee should not be a judge, that she dances beautifully but has disfigured her body, has done well for herself but should now perhaps adjust her speech and ability to communicate if she wants her career to have longevity, etc, etc. Is Chelsee a favourite of mine - absolutely not. But then neither is Alesha. Kara is but I don't think she should be a judge. Horses for courses and all that.

So, please, less of the name calling when people write objective comments that you may disagree with. Refute them, use humour, be straight whatever. But personal abuse of the poster. No.

A bit like Digitalspy really!

Aw thats terrible ;( Some people take things to extremes on this forum. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but theres no need for that.

Objective comments are comments that have no opinion but are well-accepted fact, supported by vast amounts of empirically gathered proof. What you wrote is an opinion and as such is subjective and your view alone by definition.

True. I should have said subjective. But not spiteful.
