This seems wrong by the way, unless the credits at the end of the show have been wrong (which is all I have at this moment). After the first 19 episodes Aaron was credited 19 times (same as Chas), and Debbie only 15 times, I know your list is three episodes longer than that but Aaron is already higher than that and Debbie too low to reach your figures. Have the credits been particularly inaccurate this year?

I'm wondering whether this could be down to the Thursday episodes?

Obviously, there are two episodes transmitted on a Thursday but only one set of credits, which appear at the end of the second episode.
Therefore any character who appears in both of the Thursday episodes will appear to have less episode appearances if you're just using the credits which appear at the end of the episode.

I run "The 'Daily Challenge" on the Emmerdaily threads which is like a simplified version of Fantasy Football.

Basically players select a team of 11 characters for the month who then score points for the number of episodes that they appear in during the month.

Bonus points can also be earned for speaking the first or last words of an episode, for speaking the last words before the break, the first words after the break or for kissing another character on the lips.
Two bonus points are earned for any character that appears in all six episodes of any given week.


This, for example, is the breakdown for the points for last night's episode:-

FW = First words in episodes
BB = Last words Before Break
AB = First words After Break
LW = Last Words in episode

I'm at work at the moment but if you want to post a list of the episodes that you think Aaron and Debbie have been in so far this year I'll cross-reference it when I get home to see where the discrepancies are.

If they showed the ITV1 version there'd need to be some sort of edit, as on ITV2 it doesn't continue in half an hour! So they just put the international version on. I only found out myself by accident. It's just unfortunate for me that they don't do the same when two episodes are shown back-to-back.
