Odd interview. She comes across as a bit of an strange person (not in a good way), and certainly a very unlikeable one. I wonder if she reaslies or cares? It doesn't seem like she does give a stuff, does it?

Don't the celebs get paid in installments like they do on Strictly - the longer they stay in the show the more money they get ? What a pity in her case if they don't and she gets the whole fee for being that bad. I don't watch Eastenders but I'm glad she went - horrible woman on and off the screen.

Not ever seen anywhere that the celebs get paid pro rata for DOI

I'm not keen on a pro-rata fee. It was bad enough last year with Jeff being bitter because he wasn't getting to go on the tour. Even if the celebs aren't desperate to get the bigger pay-cheque, the press will try to make something of it and perceived competitivity. I want the celebs to work hard because they want to do well.

There might be some scope for the fee to be broken down so the main appearance fee is a fixed amount, but they get a much more modest weekly allowance that can be seen as a form of expenses.

The other risk would be what to do with people who are injured. Laila could arguably have pulled out because of injury, so what would have happened with her appearance fee then?

I'm not going to pay too much attention to Laila's comments. I think there is a bit of bruvado in there, not to mention that she has been in pain.

Sad really that somebody should aspire to be Jeremy Kyle. Can't stand her character on Eastenders and it has been apparent friom day -30 that she was only on DOI for the money. Vulgar woman.

Comes across that way to me too. Sounds like she's just making the best of it.

Big Mo is a fantastic character actually. I couldn't care less what Laila is like.

I think she was being tongue in cheek about wanting to be the next Jeremy Kyle, she probably watches it and thinks like the rest of us that given half the chnce you would tell the low lifes that appear on it what you really think of them.
At least she is being honest by saying that she's glad she's out, the fee was probably the reason that she agreed to do it in the first place but I take my hat off to her for having a go, she is braver than me!

And to think that Andy was booted off.

Don't see anything wrong with that

She probably knew she had no chance of competing with the other so thought f**k it
