Sasha swanned onto our screens as Dev's new love interest Maya at first we thought she would be just another one of Dev's conquests soon became alot more darker as she kidnapped a dog, wrecked devs apartment, married illegal imigrants in her exs fiancee's name sunita, and to come she gets her arrested on their wedding night, sets 7 shops on fire and locks dev and sunita in one of the shops on fire, and it needed a great actress to play a part like this and Sasha Behar may there be many awards coming your way.

She is superb - a wonderful rival to the brilliant Alison Pargeter as Sarah in EE. I cant wait for mad Maya's explosive revenge this Christmas!!!

I love Mad Maya, I'll missed her when she (probably) goes this Xmas. I like the way they've done a slowish build up to this, at first she seemed just a bit flakey (shop lifting etc) and then you realise she's a complete and utter fruit loop

She is great, she joins the ranks of Marcia Cross and Kimberlin Brown in the memorable soap psychos elite.

its been said recently "Charlie Stubbs will be the next Richard Hillman" - what a load of crap! After her finale, Mad Maya will surely rival Hillman in the evil stakes!

Charlie Stubbs?!? The only thing he has in common with Richard Hillman is that blood over his top...what is that!?! I suppose he pretended to fancy Gail as well....

Corrie has a lot of nutters.....and some of them have lived on the street for years. Maya is one of the best!

I think the wrong comparason between Richard and Charlie has been drawn.

The kind of psychological abuse that the writers seem to have in store for Charlie is much more closer to Alan Bradley's treatment of Rita in the late 80s.

Charlie is going to turn really nasty and start knocking poor old Shell about and I bet she thinks her fault. VICTIM!

I love Maya, she's funny to watch, but sometimes quite frightening, you don't know what to expect with her. I like her eye-rolling as well.

Definatly one of the best soap villans ever.

I know this isn't usually the case but I think the awful acting adds to the character, gives it a camp quality that many a villain should have!

Yes, she is a very good actress. Consider how hard it must be to act well as a terrifying psycho and think of all the work she's put into making Maya how brilliant she is--always said she's a fantastic actress and she still is today!

I agree so does do brilliantly as Maya and i think will always be remembered and that shows how well she actually plays her and is truly convincing like Tricky Dicky will be remembered.

I really enjoyed the scenes where they though she has murdered the dog, I think everyone watching probably really knew she was capable back then. She always had a wicked sense of humour bordering on sheer evilness!

she is really pulling these scenes off well - as is Shobna Gulati (Sunita) - some of these shots are really chilling! i also love the way the writers have injected such humour into these epidodes as well, making sure Corrie is not a COMPLETE misery-fest!!!

am also probably gonna be lynched for saying this (you can report me to the mods if you want!) but im really impressed with Jimmi Harkishin's performance as Dev in these past few episodes (dont normally rate him very highly!), but his concerns for Sunita and his business empire have been really convincing.

roll on 10:00!!!
