The Hollyoaks producer interview has finally been put up and i'm annoyed beyond belief that there wasn't even a mention of Caddie. It feels like if your not a Stug or Stendan shipper then you really are out of luck and your opinion and enjoyment of the show doesn't matter. I'm also annoyed that rather than giving Maddie some depth they are just going to carry on with her being a total bitch and turning her into a complete bully with no redemption. I feel like they are throwing away a character with brilliant potential because if all the hatred is pointed at Maddie then the other teens will become a lot more popular.

I've defended Hollyoaks all year as i thought it was on the right track and kept a good balance of viewers feelings and good drama but now i feels like our views have been totally ignored in favour of the 'we hate Maddie brigade'. Thanks Emma, thanks very much.

i agree 100% with you i was abit peeved caddie wasnt menitioned i thought with family issues they may have brought them closer but doesnt look that way instead bullying esther it be a build up to her losing her friends hopefully callum will be there for her

Latest spoiler pics show Esther slapping Maddie. While she may deserve it i'm sick of the Maddie haters being pandered to every five minutes. This stupid storyline should just end there. I don't really like Esther anyway but destroying a character i absolutely love to give this little nuisance a storyline has ruined my enjoyment of the show. I'll probably keep reading the spoilers just in case Callum and Maddie ever share a scene together (you know in about 3 years time) or they decide to give her a decent storyline that, god forbid, doesn't involve using the words 'Queen Bee'. Other than that i will not be watching anymore. I give up! :sleep:

dont give up somet may happen i dont think it will be soon like im just as peeved as you with caddie and the bullying i think there building up to where she loses all her friends and has to change who she is

Not giving up on Caddie, just the show in general until this awful bullying nonsense is over. Any hint of a Caddie reunion and i'll probably be straight back to being a regular viewer again. Until then its more of a Hollyoaks detox!

the only thing with caddie is i did see a tweet a while back from emma smithwick with somebody asking if the caddie situation will be dealt with and she said more to come dont no if it will be good or bad though im got this feeling i dont no why but i think she gonna start somet with esther the way she was with her on the beach and staring at her in the photo like she realising she likes esther also in coffee shop when she was talking to sinead and she said somet about prommising and she replied somet like promises mean nothing to them then looks at esther again i really hope to god they not going down that route but it was making maddie look interested in her but it only my opinion its not like they never done it before

there was a scene in the coffee shop with them in tonight episode in coffee shop so maybe its a teaser plus he said things messed up at home so maybe she will be there for him a shoulder to cry on

Might have to watch that bit then (my detox didn't last very long although i'm still definately missing the bullying storyline, far too irritating and biased). One little Caddie scene is worth a hundred 'special' Brendan episodes!

yes i dont wanna see bullying but maybe this will have to make her change cause she will get some sort of justice maybe she loses the group but i do hope callum will be there for her and she tells him the reason why she like she is and i do hope we see maddie nice side with callum cause in coffee shop they looked like there ok plus he did mention messed up at home maybe thats a hint and she trys to help him i hope so but we will have to wait and see

Latest spoilers show Phoebe now hates Maddie as well! When are we going to see her nice side again, it seems like they really want the character to be so hated that the other teens seem more likeable in comparison. Give them more mature, hard hitting plots that have a proper effect not this 12 year old name calling and joining the 'cool gang'.

I used to be addicted to Hollyoaks especially if i knew Caddie were going to be on (either individually or seperately) but now i just dread watching any episode Maddies in let alone all the horrible spoilers about her. Give Scarlett a break and make her nice again!!!!

i agree pal but i think its going in a direction where she lose her friends she will become a nicer person i hope anyway they do need to sort caddie but while she bullying it wont happen unless she tells him why she like she is and he understands cause there a reason why she like she is maybe she was bullied and dosnt want to a victim again there a reason why she doesnt want to be with her mum for some reason

i spoke to someone on twitter and he said he doesnt no about caddie but said there some scenes with maddie and callum next week

well that wasnt what i exspected they really letting caddie fans down well looks like callum over her but she not what a waste of a good couple gutted

If tonights E4 episode was the 'more to come' then it was another huge disappointment and another slap in the face to Caddie fans. It seems if your not a Stendan shipper then you really can get stuffed as far as the producers are concerned at the minute.

Plus i'm sick of Maddie doing all the running like she did before, i'd like to see something from Callum, they've really ruined this couple and my enjoyment of the show, i think i'm definately going to stop watching for a few weeks/possibly months in the hope when i do tune in again some sort of (positive) development has happened between Caddie and some proper depth has been given to Maddie.

100% agree mate they have ruined them i think maddie had to do the running as she messed it up before with him getting hit by joel but too get it like they was getting close was a tease to caddie fans which i dont understand myself look how happy she is when she in his company but i do believe it not over and they will be more to come even the soap mag has said rumours suggest its not done and dusted with them so just be patient and if it doesnt happen then i will give it up too cause i like them 2 there believable but like you say if your not a stendan fan or stug fan you might as well forget it they like the gay storylines does the producer

i asked someone on twitter about caddie and my reply was there some big stories coming so there paths may cross still plus there a big crash either maddie lives and thats when callum realises he loves her still or maddie will die hope not like but the minibus blows up i don't no how she will survive myself

me niether i dont think she will cause the bullying story carrying on till new year so i guess she will live but maybe hurt i do hope we see caddie soon or maybe they had there time which would be daft cause they got good chemistry on screen

I am starting to wonder if they are just going to cut their losses with Maddie and kill her off in the bus crash seeing as they obviously have no future plans for her beyond dreary little Esther. Her popularity seems to hit a new rock bottom each week and there seems to be no real hints of any character development from her she might just be an obvious candidate. I hope not though. For me i still see so much potential if the soften her up a bit and give her more depth and a storyline away from the other sith formers. I hope if she is hurt this could be the jolt Callum needs to realise he still loves her and wants her back (but i think thats just wishful thinking).
