Ha ha I'm way ahead having just watched the Season 4 finale. I won't ruin it for anyone except to say that the show just goes from strength to strength. For me, it is the 2nd best show on TV (the first being Criminal Minds).

I only really started watching the show with the recent repeats of Season 1 and 2 on FX
I did see the first episode of Season 1 when it was first shown but I stopped after that cos I thought it was a rip-off of Hustle which I had gotten really fed up with. I wish Sterling would appear more often though |

Oh its far far better than Hustle. I'm half way through the season 3 DVD and it's terrific. The audio commentaries are great too, especially the one where Frakes (who directs a few) is involved! Bring on Season 4 (and 5 starts filming soon). By the way Beth Reisgraf's short film 'A Standard Story' which has a few 'Leverage' faces in it has just won an award At the WESC film festival.

The Leveragers aren't remotely as arrogant and full of themselves as the Hustlers which was the reason I stopped watching it |

Season 3 is also starting again next Friday at 6pm. I've been watching the re-runs from Season 1, Episode 1 as I missed it the first time around and I love it. Definitely one of my favourite shows at the moment and something I watch every day.
Will be sad when I've caught up with it

Filming ended on season 5 Friday and the 1st half of season 5 starts tomorrow in the States. Doubt that FX will show season 5 until about April as there is a mid season break from October to December on TNT. Hopefully a season 6 will be announced soon.

Well it's funny that you say that Jason, as Dean Devlin has been tweeting about a month ago if the fans want a sixth season, of which the overwhelming reply seemed to be yes, but is now saying that not enough people in the States know that season five starts tonight and to spread the word as a sixth season depends on it. Also sounds like the season five finale is going to be huge by what some of the cast have been tweeting this week too. TNT usually annouce within a few episodes of the season returning on renewals so fingers crossed eh!

^so Season 5 finale is done+dusted before they knew if a Season 6 was certain ?! If S6 turns out to be a no-no it would be a right shame if the last ever ep was an evil cliffhanger or something else which soured the whole series.

That's never good when that happens. I understand there's going to be a similar situation with the upcoming final season of CSI Miami as it was cancelled after the last episode was well in the can.

Evil cliffhanger? Not sure but Ms. Bellman did say "So strange shooting the finale a couple of days before the premier, but be warned, you will cry!”

started Season 3 on Friday (so it's relevant to the thread at last!!). Interesting plot device for this season with them having to take down this big international super baddie and having 6 months to do so.
good idea though - gives it a bit of continuity i suppose. |

After reading the season finale it looks like they possibly added a final scene to it.

Watched an episode this week where they did a flashback to an old job where they all thought they'd stolen a dagger.
Each person's recollection of Sophie's english accent was hilarious. Especially the 'cor blimey' version from Parker

Actually watched the last few eps of Season 3 last night. Did seem that they half expected not to come back for S4. Obviously the final scene with Nate and Sophie was a cliffhanger of sorts, but i did get the feeling that it was all wrapped up a bit too neatly.
Just have to watch the first 11 episodes of S4 now before next Wednesday where I can finally be caught up to "real" UK pace! |

I found season 3 to be a lot better than season 2. I actually gave up on season 2, it was that bad.
