I have a stinking hangover today and just wondered what everyone loves to eat when they are feeling like poop the morning after the night before.
Mine used to be Fry Ups but they don't really stay down! Mine is now rice with curry sauce randomly!!

Try foods high in potassium like bananas and tomatos.

Home-made macaroni cheese is generally my cure. Basically, I get a serious craving for carbs and dairy and macaroni cheese ticks both boxes.

I also have a large glass of coke or orangina - the fizz, sugar (and in the instance of coke, caffeine) give me a boost.

The following day after a session on the booze (alas, it doesn't happen any more) I want pizza. Nothing else will do. I will eat the whole pizza in one hit ... and then i start to feel better.

A big plate of fresh pineapple, an iced cold chocolate Frij milkshake, a big bag of crisps and full fat cold Coke.

Mine used to be a ham sandwich, smothered in mayonnaise, with a pint or two of apple juice. Or a breakfast roll from a cafe in the town centre, again smothered in mayonnaise, with apple juice.

Now it's usually just weak vimto cordial, which is about all I can stomach.

ham and cheese croissant and a glass of cold semi skimmed milk with chocolate nesquik powder. possibly a banana too if i feel the need.

a friend of mine has the same 'fix' and when one of us is hungover we just need to send the other a text with the words 'chocolate milk' and we know....

I haven't had a hangover in ages, but it always used to be Irn Bru, then lots of tea, and then lots of fairly bland carbs - bread, toast, cheesy wotsit sandwiches, macaroni cheese, that sort of thing.

Has to be curry for me. I can never face anything dry with a hangover, so a good spicy curry and lots of water!

Usually pasta and loads of cheese. If I've got to the stage of feeling sick with a hangover, I always want a pack of McChicken Nuggets.

Pickled onion flavoured corn snacks. Similar to space raiders.

Good for soaking up alcohol.

Diet Coke and an Ice cream mars bar. Followed soon after by an omelet and chips. A Spanish Omelet would probably hit the spot too.

Either a meat and potato pie with peas and gravy or about five bacon butties.
Washed down with two pints of Vimto and a gallon or so of coffee.

Have a glass of milk before you go out on the booze.

Also, have something to eat before and or during the night out.

As for the morning after....strong mug of black coffee.
