Whose performance do you think you will enjoy tonight?
I think I will enjoy G4 and Voices with Soul

Do you think you might be in for some surprises?
I'm hoping that Verity will surprise everyone.

The people I most want to perform well are Steve, Tabby and Roberta and I'd like to see Verity do well. I don't know if she's got a good enough voice to last the whole competition though.
I don't think I'll enjoy Voices with Soul or Rowetta but maybe I'll be surprised.

The main reason I am enjoying the X Factor so far is that I have no firm favs...I like Cassie and VWS; the Tabster is growing on me, but I feel we've hardly seen enough of the guys to make a real judgement.

I'm really looking forward to judging with a clean slate and seeing who is going to shine.

I'm just looking forward to some entertainment

I have an awful feeling Rowetta's gonna b good, but I don't want her to be coz I don't like ehr! I hope G4, Steve and Cassie do well. Quite like Tabby too. Shame theres no Andy!

I know the judges will supposed to be giving impartial comments about the other acts, but I fully expect Mr Cowell to slate the other acts. I keep remembering what he said after first hearing G4 "you were good.....really, really, really good. And to Jonathan "you are an amazing singer, really, really amazing". Then afterwards he said "Forget the competition, they were so good, I would give them a recording contract right now....they are ready. They are unique and what sets them apart is that they have a lead singer who is a star". Remember those words folks, after he has had his say tonight (he knows how the betting and all the polls are going at the moment and he KNOWS they are a threat to his beloved Rowetta) I fully expect him to slag them no matter how good they are (and they WILL be good)

Can't wait for tonights show. I'm sure some people will surprise me.
Rowetta is my favourite but as far as the others go I will wait until after the show to decide.

Looking forward to the judges. IMO Sharon will chew Simon up and spit him out. Brilliant.

What am I expecting from tonight's live show?
Well I've got my special favourites but I just don't know
I've booked the television and I'm hiding the remote
I'll have a glass of wine or two and maybe even vote
Can't wait to see the singers, I just hope they get it right
And hear the judges arguing! Can't wait until tonight!

I haven't been very impressed by anyone so far so hopefully that will change after tonight's show. I just hope we get some good performances rather than karaoke hell and then may be I can pick a favourite.

However, one thing I'm not looking forward to are the judges comments. Are they really going to give honest opinions about the other contestants that they're in competition with? One thing I feared about this show's format was that it would turn into a slagging match between the judges when the focus should be on the contestants. We'll see.......

Agree with you. I hope they dont get too carried away with their rivalry. I want to see fair comments made about each act irrespective of which judges group they are in.

There are only three acts with any chance of getting knocked out tonight:

Voices with Soul
2 to Go (crappest name ever)
Cassie

I know this is goin' to sound kind of stupid but is it gonna be strictly the lowest public vote..?"there's the door!"time.
Now,I think in the interests of fairness NO judges comments should be aired, this seems like the fairest way of doing things.
That way when Ro sets the show on fire tonight and wins the GBP vote, no-one can say "Oh,yeah she won....but ONLY 'cos Cowell was pimping her act like crazy"
btw does anyone else think Tabitha Osbourne is trying to perfect his "faux Bobby Gillespie" act...yeah right,he wishes, the chump.

I am not clear on this either. The most logical thing is the one with the lowest votes has to go and we may get to see who were the bottom three. For the first few shows they might do a variation on this where they call up the bottom act from each judges group and the one with the lowest vote goes which would achieve the same result but make it less clear if a judge was totally failing with all three of their acts. It would also increase the competitiveness in each individual group.
The one thing that is certain is that the act with the lowest vote count leaves.

Well...I'm looking forward to watching the two blondes and the prat in Sharons group...I have no idea who the blondes are so that will be an experience and onto tabitha, any bets on if he will remember the words and with a guitar, hah how i will laugh Cant wait for g4 though, the gorgeous Jonathon, how my heart melts Ooh yes and rowetta, shes just like marmite, you either love her or hate her, I think shes fabulous

Yep I agree with you Popidolveteran on the judges comments thing, everyone knows that it is going to sway voting and there will most probably be tears which will obviously result in a sympathy vote, one thing i cannot stand, especially on the first live show. Everyone knows that sharon and simon will get their claws into each others contestants, as usual louis will be the one in the middle...god i really hope there is a fight of some sort, it will be fabulous tv The judges comments should only be said after the voting has closed so the votes cannot be swayed in anyway, after all the public decides on the winner, not the judges...

Yes, i agree with your theory on this aswell ArtyAttack, the artist with the lowest vote in each group should be called, to show the judges who their weakest artist is. Then the one with the lowest should go, its only fair that way. So who does everyone think is the weakest from every group, my three choices are:

Tabby
2 to go
Verity

Simons comments are going to be interesting. He was extremely enthusiastic about G4 at the initial auditions but they are not in his little group and he has his own Operatic group set to release material. I get the feeling he will praise Jonathan at the expense of the others. I look forward to a little bickering but not at the expense of the acts.

Well, i saw his opera group on the telly this morning and I must admit I do prefer g4...I think more people will prefer g4 because of the lovely jonathon Yes Simon is obviously going to limit his praise now, he certainly wants to win this more than the contestants do, which is quite hmm odd I definitely -don't know if thats the right spelling, correct me if its wrong - think that Sharon and Simon will have a small disagreement which hopefully will be amusing. Louis will just sit there...planning a new little boyband to add to the heap of rubbish we have at the moment

I've an open mind too, but it all seems way too rushed to get to this stage. The ones who are new to all this haven't had a chance to build up their confidence. Really excited about tonight's show but badly want some unexpected goosebumps and tingles. One person to suddenly shine and knock - em dead. The way Will Young did. I suppose it could happen, everyone expects Rowetta to surge ahead, but perhaps she has to watch she doesn't try a bit too hard and roar out a number way way too loud! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Cassie might surprise everyone!.

Cassie...deary me what has happened to her hair? She looks a state imo, she should have remained with her past look, Sharons just tried to make her too grown up, I don't think it suits her really

I don't know what to expect. We haven't been told too much about what will happen on tonight's show! What will they sing? How will they do the results? What will the judges say?

All i want is for Voices with Soul to sing their hearts out and get through to next week!

Go Girls. (Good look Rowetta, Cassie and Steve, as well! )

I also expect we may see a lot of nerves tonight. For a number of them this is the first time they have appeared on live television in front of a studio audience. Nerves might definitely play a large factor in the quality of tonights performances.

No Imo steve shouldn't be in the final 4, he just isn't as good an artist as some of the others, he doesn't reslly seem to put as much effort as he could in performances, from what i've seen in the auditions

i'm hoping for singing ..........
No idea who I like the best yet. I havent seen any X factor yet!
I'll just have to wait and see if there are any major improvements from what I've seen so far.
