Would have liked to see these two come up against each other somehow. I think they'd be relatively evenly matched, but Foxy would edge it.

Personally, I think Dennis would edge it to be honest. Warren is formidable no doubt - but Dennis was a dedicated amateur boxer and a psycho war machine.
Only Grant managed to get the upper hand on him. I'd have like to have seen a full-on fight between Dennis and Grant.

Agree, Dennis had too much fire in his belly to let Warren beat him. He would have come out on top no doubt.

Warren - he's taller and more strongly built and Dennis hasn't really beaten anyone his size before, like when he got owned by Grant.

If they came up in theory. Obviously they're not gonna, I think that's meant to be the point.

Exactly, it's in theory! Like a lot of things on these forums. Difference being a lot of those potentially COULD happen, whereby a fight between Warren and Dennis AIN'T gonna happen is it, so it's pointless asking who would win in a fight!! Or are we all 10 years old????

But what's wrong with making a thread about something which wont happen. Does that mean its not fun to discuss? NO! and this is a discussion board, so why not let people discuss it if they want to. I see loads of threads discussing things that will never, ever happen.

If you don't like the thread don't read or comment on it, end of. The OP has a right to make a thread about this topic if he wishes. Its your choice weather you comment on it.

Would that be 'weather' or whether or not I comment on it??

Sorry I just felt that 'fight' talk was very juvenile but then again I forgot there may be teenagers on these forums aswell, as I presume you are??

You cant counter-argue my point and so in desperation you attempt to discredit me by highlighting a trivial spelling error. Sheesh, and you call me immature!

I'm not a teenager, far from it. But if anything I would say teenagers and young people constitute a majority in this forum, so stop trying to make out like teenagers are 'invading' this forum or aren't meant to be here.

Why cant you just take light hearted discussions like this. If you don't like the subject, don't comment on it. Stop trying to ruin it for others. The soap section of DS is flooded with fight threads.

I'm not discrediting teens, and I know it'll just be a spelling error , sheesh (to steal your word) you should lighten up a bit (I'm having déjà vue here)!

All I can say here is that I was adding an opinion just like you were ,and that's what the forums are all about!! It's fun to disagree!! Lol

Sorry Marcheda, just found out Whitney Houston has died aged 48. Makes all this very irrelevant doesn't it?

I wish you well Marcheda, life's just too short!

Warren isn't that much taller than Dennis. I'd say Dennis is tall enough to take him on, it's not like he's an overweight hobbit like Phil or Derek lol. Unless you're a hobbit like those guys, size does not matter that much (just ask Mike Tyson ) as long as you got the strength/power and speed which Dennis has in abundance.

Concerning Grant, that was the only guy who managed to get the upper hand on Dennis and that wasn't really a proper fight anyway - more like a scuffle, so I think it would have been a much closer fight if it were. Other than Grant, Dennis has pretty much demolished everybody else in a fight.

Whereas, Warren has actually lost a few fights. I remember him getting his arse handed to him (twice) by Calvin Valentine back in the day and Brendan managed to fight Warren to a standstill. Niall (Myra McQueen's mad long lost son) and Russ Owen managed to deck Warren too. So Warren does not have a near perfect fighting record like Dennis.

As a side note, I know these fight threads are kind of ridiculous to debate about considering it's the writers who decide who wins a fight, but they're still fun to talk about for followers of bad boy/hardman characters . There's no point in trying to discredit this type of thread when you have much sillier, juvenile and hateful threads on DS such as "Derek should f**k up Ian Beale" and "Is Derek the most ugliest man on soap?" - yep, they are real threads - now tell me... what's more juvenile a fight thread or those two threads? At least fight threads are not hateful. Lastly as Marcheda pointed out, if you don't like a particular type of thread - don't bother coming to post on it and spoil other people's discussion. I've no clue why people complain about this kind of stuff. I'm not directing this bit at any particular poster by the way.

You've posted 5 times in this thread just to tell everyone how pointless it is, and now you're lecturing him about how life's too short?

In any case, Dennis. Though I'm no fan of Hollyoaks, my housemate watches it and I catch it every so often.

Well there you have it then! Life's too short to comment on a soap fight that ain't ever gonna happen (which makes it pointless!!!)
