Not at mo as have maternity exemption but i want my crowns replacing as uneven so even tho i can get them free, i will be paying as they are a much much better quality...but very expensive

We have been paying for private dental treatment for over 5 years, costs £15 a month each but we do get all our treatment for that, when I say all there are exemptions for cosmetic dentistry and laboratory stuff, not that happy about paying for it but there is no option as no NHS dentists locally.

Where do you live? In England it's £17 at the moment - I think! - and it goes up every year without fail.

My dentist gave up offering treatment on the NHS as he said the payments he got from the NHS barely covered the cost of his time let alone materials used.
He reckons no NHS dentist can offer a thorough service to pts and earn enough to make a living.

^ ha! As if. If they do the number of required treatments calcualted through their list size trust me they can more than make a living. A very good one at that
