Hi

I've recently bought the above TV, Now i have set everything up and am really pleased with he picture quality i am getting and everything else is fine.

Except the final thing i tried to do the same i used to be able to do with the last Samsung set and that's was to share my music and video from my pc to the TV.

No the TV is Connected to the home network via Home plugs, I can do the basics like watch you-tube video and on face book and such so I know its connected correctly I just can manage to get my files streamed from pc to TV.

I hope someone here can help me sort this problem if at all possible.

One assumes you mean the TX42ST30B.

Looking through the instructions the set does not have DNLA capability and will only play video files either via USB drive or SD card.

I would agree with that. Having speed read the manual the only thing you can do with the network connection is connect to the internet.

It does not have any ability as far as I can see to stream media from any network attached device. Only from USB or SD card as MeanMint says.
