'97 Bonnie & Clyde by Tori Amos
Something about that just freaks me right out (more so than the Eminem original). I think it is cause she is sounding so calm but the lyrics are very dark. The fact she is so close to the microphone and that makes it sound even freakier on headphones. |

Eminem - "Stan"
Aphex Twin - "Come to Daddy" My Bloody Valentine - "No More Sorry" I wouldn't describe any of them as frightening, though. Creepy, maybe. |

Then Jerico - The Hitcher...
Hitcher, hitcher, hitch one ride Took your life with a six inch knife He put the secret into your brain Moments later you died in pain See the trucks as they scream on by Pain reflected in the windshield-wipers The cold of that moulded steel If only you'd grabbed the wheel... More shudder inducing than frightening though. |

Never did really appreciate it untill i heard it live. Thom sang it with real venom in his voice. That sent shivers down my spine. |

Agreed... I can't listen it it anymore and the same goes for Me and a Gun. They're both pretty disturbing.

'The End' by The Doors - all about the Oedipus Complex. When that song reaches its climax: "Father, I want to kill you. Mother, I want...to..." AND THE MUSIC JUST CRASHES IN SO HIS WORDS ARE BLURRED...
Also, I recall a song from the early eighties, by a band/singer called 'Naughty Miranda' and the lyrics went: "I just killed my father/He died in his sleep." That really disturbed me, especially only being about 12 years old at the time. |
