5.G4 4/10 (Why Everybody Hurts? when there were SO MANY other songs they could have murdered instead.
I thought the chubby one on the left looked a mini me of David The Office Brent .

4. 2 to Go 5/10 I really wanted to hate this mob,but they weren't THAT bad really,just IMO very very ordinary,IMHO they WILL be on The Good Ship Cruise before this year is out...or I ain't a PIV.

This was a very polished voice VERY polished,the song had no emotional content but technically it was tres bien.
Why didn't they give cassie "Superstar" to sing?she would have made a good job of it.

2. VWS 7/10Liked the transformation girls,and I thought you all did very well(sounds like I'm young Mr. Grace,eh!!)
They REALLY took the chance they were given tonight,good job.

Loved her performance not a trace of nerves,hit all the high notes,didn't OVER sell the song,couldn't fault her...

Observations of PIV Is it me or has KT been over doing it at the hospitality buffet??? Jeez she looked huge,trussed up in that foil thingy,Crimbos not for another 2 months love!!!

Tabby - Apart from the eyeliner, he rocks good. He won't have a problem singing soulful balads either, he has a great huskiness to his voice.

Cassie - Terrible choice of song for her, too much of a show tune, but she sang it flawlessly and effortlessly, I would love to hear her sing some rock.

VWS - Brilliant, great harmonies.

G4 - Great voices, not sure about their stage production.

2 to Go - The most improved of the lot, a good performance.

Roberta - Shame about the clothes, and the song wasn't great for her but she did it well.

Rowetta - A bit to deep for me, was it the best key for her?

Verity - A shaky start, shakier middle, finished well, but still seems terrified.

Steve - I wanted him to do well, he makes me smile and if he really is ill then that's a shame, but on tonights performance he did nothing for me.

On previous shows I've heard Tabby sing more soulfully and I could hear the influence of Prince. I agree that he does have a husky voice and will be able to sing soulful ballads. I hope that he is given something soulful to sing.

IMO Cassie image and the song chosen for her to sing was a bit old and as you say, show like but I thought that she sang it flawlessly and with maturity given her age.

Actually I agree with practically everything you've said apart from the bit about Steve. I've made an allowance for his sore throat and think he did quite well under the circumstances. I assume that he sang more in falsetto than in the lower register because it was easier to do. I just wish I could have heard him sing this song properly cos I really love it and I've got a feeling that he would have done a fairly convincing job of that song.
