iplayer (radio) abroad on tablet (android)
Hi,
In general, non UK users can access radio programs on iplayer. However, the BBC blocks this feature from my andriod tablet. I tried to workaround this by installing "phony" addon to firefox - this changes my user agent to firefox desktop. This gets me further with iplayer. Unfortunately, it now reports that I need to have Flash installed, even though it is installed. So, how can I convince the BBC website that it is installed? Cheers, Steven |

Have you tried just going direct to say for example Radio 1 website?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 On iPhone and my daughters Android phone it opens up the mobile site and there's a listen icon so maybe it will be the same for your device. |

I made a mistake of buying a Ubisurfer last year. It could not access any of the BBC I player sites as it did not have Flashplayer installed. On investigation I found that it could be used as a internet radio and play all "on demand stuff" by going to this site.
