Those who are wondering why episode 3 was delayed until tonight, episode 1 was delayed by a week after been taken off for Tennis, this ruined BBCs three week block for the re-run, because last week they had a planned airing of Athletics to celebrate a year since the Olympic Games

Watching it on BBC1 just now. Does anybody know if the old guy in Mycroft's club who rings the bell, is Douglas Wilmer who played Holmes in the 60s. He looks like him. Not even sure if he's still alive.

They've only just started filming the third episode, so an airdate won't be released any time soon since they only confirm schedule two weeks beforehand. I'd say it will air in December at the earliest and no later than January

Good teaser, wasn't expecting much more tbh just nice to see a bit of new footage. Hope John loses the tache quickly, I'm sure Sherlock will make sure of it.

I think John (Martin) suits the tache in a way. I've seen a pic of it before. He shaves it off, though (maybe after Sherlock falls about laughing at it when he sees it - after picking John up from the floor after fainting, that is ) It looks like he has become very sophisticated during Sherlock's absence. And what was that posh place he was dining at? The Diogenes Club? Makes a change from going down to Tesco for some beans.

We had better find out then!

I'm still smitten by Martin, even with a tache as awful as that.

And, as you say, Nethwen, we better find out how he escaped death last series, or Moffat better get a bodyguard. (He might need one anyway, after the Doctor Who revelation on Sunday night).

The moustache hate is saddening

I love moustaches with beards, especially if they are a bit unkempt (see David Tennant in Broadchurch) but moustaches without beards just make a bloke look a bit shifty, like a con man, to me.
